I've uploaded this coaster before but this one has some major improvements.
The famous Riverview Park in Chicago was located along Western Ave. Unfortunately, the Park closed forever after the 1967 season probably because land developers discovered that the land the Park was sitting on was worth more as apartments and condos so they offered the owners of Riverview a price they couldn't refuse.
So you can't go to Riverview. But you can download my No Limits recreation of the famous Riverview BOBS and some of the rides that were at Riverview.
My recreation of the Bobs goes into great detail, showing the sign on top of the lift hill, the motor house, a custom station like the original station, the Chutes, the Parachute Tower and even the entrance to the Park on Western Ave.
The emergency brakes work but the trains do not make it back to the station. They probably had to be pulled back to the station if they were ever used. That's my guess because my Bobs is so perfect, I think it really imitates the original. Of course, that's my opinion.
Since you can't go to Riverview, download my version and take a drive down Western Ave., drive through the entrance of Riverview, park your car and head over to the BOBS and take a ride on one of the most famous of all roller coasters!
Thanks goes to BobCoaster for letting me know about the small lift chain that pulls it by the station into the curve that leads into the main lift hill.
BTW, Don't forget to read my "Coaster Info" on the BOBS inside the "NL Editor".
