This was slightly inspired by the movie Brave, but is not themed to it. Wisps are those flame like sprites that form a trail leading one to their fate, and I thought that might make a good premise for an out and back terrain coaster. The layout was somewhat inspired by the Voyage and features a trip through the woods, numerous air time, a couple underground tunnels, and a station fly-by.
Also, this is NOT a GCI. They're supposed to be Timberliner trains, but unfortunately NL 1.X does not have them.
Please people, can't you upload a version without .nlpack as well?? I use a mac and we can't open .nlpack files anymore since power pc isn't supported any more. And I don't have windows on my computer so please! All of you that upload, please do a zip with both nlpack and regular.nltrack files, so we mac userscan ride them as well
Not too bad, but there are some things to work on here...
T
- some transitions were good, while others were bumpy.
- Supports were not good either, I mean, on the first hill for example you has a support on either side that didn't have a complete frame. The laterals of the ride also produce the need for better supporting.
- I am annoyed with the shaping of the top crest of your lift hill, it should be something more defined and constant.
- Bad banking in most areas. banking is useful, but if done too much it will just make another lateral Gforce problem but in the other direction.
- Lots of the elements used seemed to be drawn out and poorly shaped.
A
- The speed of the ride was fine
- A lot of the elements used were drawn out and some were painful due to poor banking
- I liked how the ride for the most part followed the terrain
- Tunnels added a bit of a nice effect to the ride
O
- This is a nice layout
- The tunnels on a wooden coaster like this almost seem to be overused.
- Station fly-by was nice, but not really needed
