Built in 1996 by D. H. Morgan Manufacturing, Wild Thing is located at Valleyfair in Shakopee Minnesota. At the time of opening it was the fifth tallest and fastest coaster in the world. This hyper coaster features the longest low gravity section of any coaster in the world.
This is my second recreation of Wild Thing. Morgan uses kind of a weird track/car combo so I used the looping coaster for the look of the track. I feel looping looks best but you can use the corkscrew track too but some supports poke through.
This was a really good recreation of Wild Thing. The pacing and layout on the first half are spot on. The shape on the return bunny hills is a bit off, but the pacing was good there too. Keep up the great work.
Technically, you're at an awkward point where you're using more than two vertices to make hills, but your really should be using more to get correct shaping. The foundation is there though.... With that, none of the hills or elements are shaped realistically to the actual ride. The first drop is mainly a long straight section, each camelback has its own shaping, etc. These are the things you need to focus on for an "above-average" recreation.
Slow down and commit more time to your projects; recreations should take way more than a week, even if you're choosing not to use 3Ds.
