Firefly, a project in the works since October. Took me so long to get it done due to distractions and work schedules. Firefly was inspired by The Last of Us and features music and logos from the game. It's an intamin double launch blitz coaster that's build nothing like intamins style. This one was all about the biggest, fastest, tightest inversions. In that respect, I think I have succeeded.
Quick notes:
*The download includes a large 3DS file. (As usual)
*I tried my best to compress everything to help you guys out but lower performance PC's should lower the graphics settings for this one. (Particularly Anti-Aliasing)
*I did re-use some files from other rides (because I don't change what looks good) so if the track packager asks you to overwrite files for blackout, just click yes to all or no to all. It doesn't matter....If you already have those files, Firefly will display properly.
T: Track was smooth for the most part and pacing was good and fast through out the course. The turn coming into the second launch is extremely abrupt and then there's that sudden stop. I see a few cases of whiplash and possibly a bloody nose or two. Good work on the custom supports and 3Ds. I noticed the turn after the transfer track looks un-supported.
A: Adrenaline was good with the fast pace and elements of surprise.
O: This was a very original design project with the 3D themeing.
Overall, it's a very fun and exciting coaster that just needs a little TLC in areas. Thanks!
