This is my attempt at a custom hyper-lite inspired by Lightning Run. It is one of my more compact designs, and probably my most compact non-inverting ride yet. Naturally there are head/hand choppers all about. In fact, this track kinda takes advantage of the fact that the clearance envelope script seems to be more generous than conventional tunnel testing, so if I were to administer the No Limits 1 tunnel test it would most likely fail. It also features some brief moments of ejector airtime. Since I don??????t yet know how to script, I give thanks to Phyter for posting that ??????attach objects?????? script.
Very nice coaster. Good compact layout that still provides plenty of thrills. Not the fastest coaster but still worthwhile. Very unique in design. Have not seen a coaster like this one anywhere. It is quite real and would make an awesome ride if built. Great job on the ride and the extras like the queue, exit path, and transfer track.
You always produce really fun rides - some have more issues than others but all are technically pretty solid and always throw some interesting ideas out there - this was no exception! A lot of this stuff is really minimal that I'm pulling you up on but its the sort of thing that takes a ride from a 7-8 to a 9-10 ride and I think you certainly have shown you have the ideas and a great technical base to build on.
Technique +Basics - Most of the clearances I think would've been fine - I felt that at the start of the second to last turn you infringed vertically clearance wise in my opinion. Everything else passed
+Suppports - Your supports were very very good - some good invention where space meant you had to do something different. Only questionable section was on one of the turns nearer to the station that required a bit of bracing due to being a 3G turn which wasn't really low enough to the ground to not have bracing!
+Trackwork - This overall was very good - almost all elements were well formed and smooth. I thought how the ride was set up was good, however I was abit confused as to why the spare trains had no housing
The lift hill had an odd shape to the crest of it - I think it should have a smoother transition between radii.
The final turn was a bit bumpy and pumpy - just needed somefine tuning to get it to be perfect!
Most turns did have tiny imperfections - nothing massive and I certainly haven't deducted huge points here.
Brake link up curve had a couple of pumps in it.
Scenery was fairly good although I dislike terrained pathways - they just don't look right!
Adrenaline +Forces - Good variation in forces, some good lats in there and good variety of airtime. Some lateral forces felt a little extreme - this isn't a massive issue and its really difficult to keep in check with this sort of compact ride.
+Pacing - The ride had good pacing - felt as quick at the end as it did at the start and it didn't feel like you had to force it over the finish line! My gripe here was that some transitions were a bit lethargic, particularly on the high turnaround under the lift. There was one or two occasions that the banking didn't quite flow right.
+Interaction - As a spaghetti bowl this naturally gets top marks! Bar that one clearance issue this was really well done
Uniqueness +Layout / Elements - Really good idea and layout - a style I haven't seen made in NL2 before! Good job!
+Extras - Really liked the cusstom cars - added a lot to the authenticity! The fences were also a nice addition. I would've liked to have seen a more complete surrounding area however!
Realism Not a great deal to compare this too however it looked like it would ride in a similar fashion to lightning run (although it might be a bit more forceful than that ride will turn out to be I think) Some of the lats I felt hurt your realism.
Fantastic ride! It's fun, and way more thrilling than you'd expect anything of it's size to be. Theoretically I would love to ride this in real life. G forces were realistic, the ride was smooth, landscaping was good, and the train thing was brilliant. Overall a big victory.
I don't think it passes clearance testing, though. I could be wrong.
