I finally finished my new coaster. I wanted to create a Giga coaster like Millenium Force just a little more exciting. And here it is. This is Titanium. I hope you like it =) Please let me know what you think
T: You did fine here overall. I just found that your transfer placement was odd, especially since your ride uses a cable lift as implied by the texture you used. Lot of Millennium Force inspiration here.
A: It maintained it's pace well throughout the ride. The best moments weren't the big hills or turns but the small curves before the final brake run. But this could have had a much better effect with some landscaping.
U: It's a little 'too much' like Millennium Force, I would have wanted to see tighter transitions into the turns to make it feel less force-less. You also used the same 3D tree over and over. I would like to see more landscaping and variety in your scenery.
R: It's highly realistic which is why this is your highest score. There weren't any noticeable pumps or imperfections in the track. Nice job there. Your queue and other 3D objects were simple, but added a nice touch.
RV: Similar to how I feel about Millennium Force, it has re-ride potential. Just not a lot of it. It's a good ride and I really enjoyed it. Maybe you can move the transfer and change the lift speed to be a little faster.
Not related to the review....There's a glitch with walk mode in your queue where if you walk along the rail the "person" will jump.
What a ride! Very similar to Millennium Force (not that there's anything wrong with that). Very realistic, enjoyed it thoroughly. Pacing was furious without being unrealistically intense.
A really solid coaster, I enjoyed it and it didn't really have many if any technical faults - which whilst slightly easier on a larger coaster is still good to see good shaping which helped the ride considerably.
Technique Really good track smoothness and the build quality was good.
Supports were superb - some really good techniques, ideas and realism in this section.
As Goku mentioned - the storage track placement was bizzare. Really the trains want to enter the track at the end so they can just roll them forward into the station to be tested / loaded rather than messing about moving all the trains backwards! Also the car would need to stop to ensure that the cable attached properly to it.
The terrain and surround scenery needed a bit of work. The work around the tunnel was nice but the rest of it was very samey and bland. The 3DS road, pylon and basic queue line were nice additions however.
Adrenaline You had some really good airtime throughout the ride - it just wasn't very varied. It felt like strong airtime that just got worse as the track went on.
I agree with Goku that some more turns and intricate trackwork would've made this ride more exciting.
The pacing of the ride was fairly good - although as I mentioned the airtime just seemed to get less and less towards the end of the ride.
The tunnel and close proximity to the trees was good interaction and added to the feeling of speed!
Uniqueness The ride was a good take on the classic millenium force style. The tunnel segment was especially good and whilst your ionspiration was obvious you definitely made it your own.
I felt the setting helped you here and perhaps you could have given the ride a bit more identity with some basic 3DS tid-bits, more realistic scenery and such.
Realism This ride felt very realistic - I covered my main points in the other sections (Terrain style and the cable lift/storage track). Good work though.
Awesome ride! Very unique placement of the transfer track. Also loved the fact how it races alongside the roadway then eventually crosses it and also dives underneath it. This ride could very well be turned into a real one. Fast paced throughout the ride, lots of airtime hills, and also the overbanked turns create an adrenaline packed ride. Well done!
