TEMPESTATEM Strap yourself in, this is going to be a wild ride... 5 inversions await you. But, the question arises, can you run for shelter? Tame the storm. Tempestatem.
-If this was on a park, it would be on it's own seperate island like in the file. Remember that. A bit like how thorpe does stuff.-
This ride was fast paced and I really liked your ideas. Your technical work let down your score and if you improved it with the same good ideas you'd have a really solid ride on your hands!
Technical The track wasn't particulary smooth - there were several occasions where some better control of your vertices would've smoothed the ride out. There were also noticable pumps and some poor shaping - try to take a look at real rides such as Helix Liseberg) to perfect your style. The groundwork was certainly there - just need to tweak, refine and improve your ride!
Track failed the tunnel test and stacked for a little to long at the end of the ride.
The supports would have certainly kept the ride standing for the most part - however they were quite messy and rough around the edges - some of the connections would've probably failed over time due to fatigue. Some of your supports were a tad inefficinet - especially on the low turn where the bracing could have been much shorter.
It was a good effort at terrain and the detail was appreiciated. The rain really added to the atmosphere of this ride too. Felt like a really mean ride and the wet conditions made it a little bit more dangerous! I think there was room for some additional scenery detail in the form of queue lines etc.
Adrenaline I thought the pacing was spot on until the final section of the ride where it just seemed to die. The majority of the ride was frantic and fast paced however and I certainly enjoyed it!
The forces here were a problem - you had a lot of uncomfortable laterals and the double barrel roll through the tunnel also pulled some uncomfortable negative G's. You definitely need to get these under control! Going into red on the scale is very ill-advised.
I thought the interaction with the terrain and the tunnels really added to the ride and was well done. It could've been improved with some headchoppers either through scenery or interacting with the ride itself!
Uniqueness The ride was certainly an unique experience. The particular highlight was the barrel roll through the tunnel - I just wish you had executed it better so it was smoother and wasn't uncomfortable. Only improvement would be some more themeing to make nthe ride truely its own!
Realism Realism wise the ride scored fairly lowly due to poor technical work. Improving the technical nature of the ride will naturally increase its realism. I'd also question why the station and holding break were on a downward slope (and then you had friction wheels which seemed fairly redundant...?)
The forces were also an issue as they weren't realistic nor comfortable in places. However I felt the uniqueness was implemented in a way that might happen in real life (Maverick did at one point have a similar roll that was removed for the same reasons yours are uncomfortable!) The ride was definitely buildable.
t - The ride seemed to be a bit close to the ground in areas and there were A LOT of laterals. some can be painful with notice needing to be taken at the G force jolts that happened frequently.
a - Really fast ride, riders may not be able to process what happens during the ride. The train sped through quite fast and was sure to have lots of hearts pumping.
u - unique layout and showcased in the rain, I LOVED that for some reason haha. I also loved the heartline in the tunnel effectively making it a straight tube. really loved that.
r - Due to the ride being extremely forceful and high jerky G's, this ride probably wouldn't be built. It could possibly cause temporary harm to riders and I doubt it would be worth the money to build.
rv - As I said before, there are some jerky G's and high speeds. the high speeds are too high for the rider to just sit and enjoy their ride because the ride speeds too fast for people to process what's happening around them. And on the G's, some could be painful (specifically the lats) when they jerk riders around.
Cool concept but it wasn't the best ride out there, as I said there are a few things to work on. However the layout was worth multiple rides to see just where the train goes and where it turns.
Feel free to pm me about rate if you need. Have a great day
