Inspired by Twisted Twins, Medusa Steel Coaster, Goliath, and general Gravity Group traits, this pair of asymmetrical dueling coasters was originally going to be just a more insane version of Twisted Twins following the same general layout but I decided to take a bunch of my own liberties with it since I felt that following the same general layout but with more insane elements might be kinda limiting. Tho it also features some elements similar to Lightning Run, I wasn??????t really thinking of that one. I was going for RMC inspiration as well as a regular out of control woodie. The two sides are named and colored after the Twisted Twins. Thanks to Kyle Sloane for sharing that method of .lwo export on Skype. It is overall one of my personal favorite things I??????ve done in No Limits 2 so far as well as my slowest paced project. Custom bracing and inversion supporting were pretty tedious, especially since it??????s actually two 4,000+ ft long wooden coasters, plus getting the timing of the trains satisfactory enough is quite hard, especially on such an asymmetrical layout. I was at one point considering putting the entire track in a steel frame like Son of Beast??????s loop, and supporting it like a steel coaster but it just wouldn??????t look right, and it would be cheating, tho I thought about doing that for a future fantasy coaster. Even tho I put 'realistic' I am kinda on the fence.
Man I can't even tell you how long I have been waiting for an RMC creation. I mean I've attempted to make one but I suck at hand building. However something tells me this ride wasn't hand built. Anyways I figured I'd drop a rate for once.
T: Dang man you nailed it here. The track was glass smooth for the most part. However, I felt as if some of the barrel roles felt a bit awkwardly placed. Idk that might just be me. One thing I loved in particular was the dive loop. I can tell that was Goliath inspired.
A: I felt like this may have been a bit of a weak spot. The ride felt a little too slow for me at certain spots, but that just may be my computer.
U: What isn't unique about this. I love how you had both tracks interact with each other. That is really hard to do in NL.
R: This ride was extremely realistic idk how else to put it.
RV: A great ride overall, but like I said above it felt a bit too slow for me at some parts.
This is definitively my favorite ride from you. The ride felt so much like a RMC and had such a great layout - the only thing that the ride was missing in my opinion was a asetting to showcase it!
Technique Trackwork - Great trackwork throughout. I think the the first barrel roll which I rolled a bit late. I think it should have been either consistent roll or quick over the apex as it were.
Supports - Seriously good work here. Brilliant work with the supports - They were realistic and personally have no complaints on them at all!
Scenery - As I mentioned - the ride really lacked a setting to compliment the ride. The terrain was basic, flat and deserted.
Adrenaline Pacing - Quality pacing throughout the ride. Never ever let up and great use of the various elements to keep things interesting.
Layout - Again top notch - dueling rides are hard to pull off and you almost pulled it off well although the timing was slightly off. The actual layout of the rides was fun and there was a great mix of elements - you certainly achieved an out of control feeling on this ride!
Forces - Great mix of laterals, positives and airtime. The RMC style trackwork was pulled off well and certainly contributed a lot to this area.
Uniqueness Layout / Elements - A dueling RMC esque ride - what more is there to say? You borrowed a lot of ideas from other rides but they were certainly executed in a unique fashion. As I said before I really enjoyed the layout!
Scenery - No need to repeat myself I guess - needed a setting!
Realism
Tech/Adren/Uniq - As mentioned before - ticked all the boxes here, felt buildbale and VERY good interpretation of RMC. I loved the little airtime hills and track direction changes. I really enjoyed this!
