Track Description
Rising to a dizzying 306 feet and speeding along at 90 mph, this wild ride throws everything its got at you on its 6,391 foot, 2 minute and 35 second long journey, traversing through the first ever barrel roll on a B&M Giga Coaster and many other heart-stopping elements!

Renegade is my 2nd Nolimits 2 creation and 17th custom ride in all, and I think this may be my best one yet! Don't forget to stop by Youtube tomorrow at 12 pm EDT, for the formal release of Renegade!

Trackwork - The track had various noticeable bumps throughout the ride. Your trackwork wasn't terrible - but it could've done with some refining! I also noticed in a few places (for example on the exit to the first turn) you didn't really shape the track with how you'd banked it, it was essentially turning without being banked which didn't feel natural.

Supports - Supports were good, they were suitable and good job with minimising the amount of footers in the water (Which are more costly to construct!) I felt the invert of the barrel roll needed its own support that wasn't tied into the lift supports in all honesty.

Scenery - Enviroment was nice, as were the ride colours. The terraforming felt realistic and good however you didn't tie in your rollercoaster to the flat ride or add anything extra around the station area.

Failed the E-Stop - check your settings!

Adrenaline
Pacing - Generally this was fairly good. The trim brake really killed the ride for me though. It seemed huge and I felt you could've just managed the speed to a MCBR and cut it there instead (or trimmed it far less) The ride did feel a bit stretched throug the turnaround too.

Layout- The layout was nice and interesting, there were some nice variations in airtime and the barrel roll certainly added something to the ride (if it felt a little gimmicky in its execution within the layout)

Forces - Force were all in check and again some decent variation.

Uniqueness
Layout / Elements - 0G roll, Turn on the first hill. I felt this was a decent attempt at a unique B&M hyper.

Scenery - I'd have liked to see you work more on the area around teh coaster here, although the enviroment was nice.

Realism

The ride could've done with some surrounding scenery to make it feel more real.

I felt it was pretty buildable considering the huge lake - I'd agree with Turbo that you should've separated the beams as they entered the footer - however I think you chose the most efficient method for supporting that section of track. I suppose you're almost weighing up whether its better to have to transport loads of smaller precast footers into position or whether you can get away with one large one done in one trip.

Likeness to manufacture - I don't think this resembled a B&M in terms of realism. Your ride had lots of ejector airtime which just isn't present on a B&M - especially the drop (B&M drops are pure floater in the back and are absolute bliss!). Turbo mentioned some points in his technical that I'd apply here.

Feel free to pm me about your rate :]

Note to Plantoris - Shambhala has a slow lift speed whilst the train gets entirely onto the straight section of the lift before speeding up - not sure exactly why - but I imagine its a wear and tear issue!

T - This was the area that needed a little more attention. to start, it failed e-break tests badly. you have a trim (unnecessary IMO) that is marked block, and the MCBR is marked as trim. this makes it so the train crashes if e-break is used. the track was very smooth and supports looked nice but some of the taller ones i think should be thicker. The amount of airtime was awesome but the shaping of the big camel humps were a bit off. watch the G's as you go over the hill and try to get the G's to stay constant throughout the hill. yours enter the airtime at -.9 and slowly go back to 1, makes for an uncomfortable ride if i make sense. finally the last part was way too short, after the MCBR there is 1 element before the end.

*why did you have 2 speeds on the lift? half at cool5 speed and the rest normal. i didn't mark you down for this, I'm just curious.

A - that drop was nice. speed, airtime, and an inversion. the only thing missing is more forces. some of the valleys only pull 2-3 G's, i would like to see a bit more from a coaster of this size and type. some of the elements seemed too stretched out, kinda goes hand in hand with the G's.

U - seemed fairly basic B&M but with an added inversion.

R - seemed completely realistic to me. except maybe the distance between the MCBR and the end.

RV - I would for sure ride this and it would be awesome. It could be a major coaster in almost any park.

Nice ride you got here

------------------------

- Technical -
This ride wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad. Your biggest issue is shaping. B&M hills are for the most part pretty parabolic where yours are a bit on the circular side. Another thing I'd suggest is when setting up your coaster settings changing the spline position to heartline. When building a modern steel coaster this is almost needed because of the standards today. One nice thing about this ride was it was decently smooth. When after the final brake you had the turn kind of weirdly shaped. When in slow parts companies like to use small and precise parts to save money and stress on trains. One last thing about track is the station. B&M likes to use friction wheels and not gravity to power the ride out of the station. Now for supports. They weren't bad, but they could have been better. One big thing I noticed was this

Image

The supports that B&M use will use the same cement but never the same steel. You can browse rcdb to find what I'm talking about. The supports for your ride seemed to be enough elsewhere :)

- Adrenaline -
The ride was all about speed. For some people that's fine but for me I like things just a tad faster even on a big ride like this. The ride hardly slowed down anywhere and was fun and smooth. The only issue was Lateral G's and the negatives provided on the roll. That can be fixed with careful roll points and heartlines.

- Uniqueness -
The ride crosses a massive amount of water and has something no other hyper has: an inversion! It was a fun ride with a decently unique layout and was fun in most aspects.

- Realism -
The thing that kills this isn't so much the roll as laying the cement in the giant body of water and steep rocky faces. There were other factors like the roll and shaping that had a much smaller effect on this score, but the supports are really what lowered this score the most.

- Rider Value -
The ride would definitely draw a crowd for the inversion and held speed. The capacity seems a bit low however and that makes me a sad penguin. The riders would definitely enjoy this ride.

------------------------

Fun and decently unique ride you have here. There were a few issues but nothing TOO serious. Keep building!

Feel free to pm me about your rate if you wish.
