Nightmare is my latest and first NoLimits 2 coaster. This Mack Launch coaster is a little bit based on the new Liseberg coaster Helix. You can consider this coaster as a terrain coaster.
Statistic: Length: 1105m Max height: 46,3m Max height difference: 41,3m Max. speed: 105 km/h Inversions: 4 Tunnels: 2
Technique Trackwork - Was pretty good throughout - some transitions weren't perfect but nothing major. The banking however was very off and led to some horrible lateral G's. You need to be careful on underbanking and overbanking the track -especially when you encounter airtime hills on turns.
Supports - I really liked the supportwork. Efficient and suitable throughout!
Scenery - The fog and the lights were well done (although I'm not a fan of night coasters :<) and fitted in well. I'd have liked to seen more scenery to add to the ride although the shrubbery and terrain was nice.
Adrenaline Pacing / Layout - Pacing was good, I enjoyed the layout of the ride especially as it had an interesting combination of elements within the layout. I particularly liked the overbank out of the tunnel
Forces - Decent forces, just lots of issues with extreme laterals!
Uniqueness Layout / Elements - Didn't really stand out as a fantasy coaster as it felt very realistic in my opinion. Fantasy coasters should really push the boundaries of realism and what NL is capable of simulating!
Scenery - The setting was nice, especially the fog. But the rest of the ride could've had more theme and setting.
