If you don't mind I will share the same comment I left on NLE
Well it literally took me 1 hour to ride Aureole, like it would be in real life!! The complexity of this project is insane!! too bad that you have to own a super-computer to run it smoothly! On my pc it was running at 4 fps but despite that i really enjoy to walk around to see this beauty more closely! The trackwork is absolutely realistic and very respectful of B&M standards! They could totally build this if they want to! The scenery however stand up for creativity and inventive, how you envisioned all of this even before you started is a mistery! Since is pretty obvious that everything is done with extreme care I'm gonna say few things that i could have seen differently! The train that TheCodeMaster was great but there is only the front camera and could have been nice to ride in different seats, Also seems like that the flat rides weren't rideable. I was kinda lost in the queue i thought it was nice to have direction signs. Anyway this was a surrounding experience and it's gonna be remembered for long time! Thanks for the great job and time-consuming effort to make this happen ! I'm sure it will make a big impact on the community!
T: Good, smooth track work. The shaping was correct, and the supports were done very well. E-stop and tunnel test passed.
A: Overall, this was a fun ride. The layout was slightly different from most B&M inverts, and the 3D objects added to the fun factor. Your Gs were kept in control, too.
U: For the most part this was a fresh layout. It didn't have any unique elements for a B&M invert, albeit they were in an unorthodox sequence. The theming is what really brought out the uniqueness of this ride.
R: It's realistic.
RV: I think this would be remembered as one of those B&M inverts that people put in their top 10 lists. It's a different coaster that stands out.
Wow! Great Scenery! Lots of fun details like the shelf for backpacks and stuff and the coasterseat in front of the entrance. Realy great coaster too. So what else to say. Tracks like this make me realise whats possible with NL2. Great work
Okay so I was told that this was hand built. This is absolutely the most amazing hand built ride I have ever seen man! I would never have the patience for what you created here. My only complaint is the ridiculously long loading time. I however had the patience to wait because the track looked so awesome just from the photo and video!
R: I can see this being built in real life for sure! Very realistic I must say!
T: Although Turbo said he felt a pump on the corkscrew I however didn't. The track was glass smooth!
A: This ride was really fun and enjoyable. I ended it riding it 10 times in a row!!
U: I really love the theme and the way the dive loop got so close to the lift hill was really really cool!
RV: I'm pretty sure this would be a huge hit in any park!
I'll kick this of on a positive note. The ride itself is great! The environment surrounding it is very detailed with all of the 3ds that was made for it. The rotating rings throughout the area were very cool looking and their use in the ride was very original. The ride was a blast and the color transition part was a very neat idea.
The bad is obviously the load time. Thanks to having a SSD, this loaded in "only" 7 mins. While the 3ds were excellent, why was the loading so long? I see nothing standout about the ride to make it take such a long time to load. I honestly would've either held off and waited for the problem to be fixed or contact the NL team and let them examine the cause for such ridiculous load times.
This is the reason why the rider value was so low. I was expecting even more amazing than what I was greeted with when I was loading this ride.
Hello. Just to let people know now while this ride loaded I went upstairs to my kitchen, made food, came back down, and ate a little before it was done loading. It is worth it, however it is quite laggy even on my computer (I update my computer hardware regularly).
------------------------
- Technical - There was only one flaw that I saw here, and that was one tiny little jerk that was only noticeable when I was in .25x mode and in the back seat. Unfortunately due to all of the lag there may have been more but I could not find them. Everything else was awesome!
- Adrenaline - This ride had an awesome layout and unique theming! The pacing was awesome and the elements were strong. The G's all checked out and was a very fun ride!
- Uniqueness - This ride was absolutely unique. The layout was phenomenal, the scenery objects were fantastic, some of them even moved! I am kinda curious how you did the fountains because I've been wanting to add them to a part in one of my upcoming rides. The lighting at night was awesome and really added to the already incredible atmosphere.
- Realism - The supports were awesome, the scene was set nicely, the whole part of this secluded park area was amazing and seemed to be real! The only thing that might be hard to do would be the holographics and moving lights and things. It could become costly for a park however cool it may be with all that you added to set the scene.
- Rider Value - The only thing that brought this down was the ride capacity. Although it was an awesome ride pretty much altogether I feel like you could have added an extra train in there. Sure the ride may stack for a few seconds on the transfer section but you'd be loading people on faster and would be a benefit to the park.
------------------------
You should be glad that the rate was smaller, that means there was way less that you needed to fix! I loved this ride and it will be added to my careful selection of "liked" rides here on CC. Great job!
While I realize it's the result of a bug, you should probably realize that most people simply won't wait 20 minutes for a file to open... even one that looks as good as this from the screen shot.
And, for what it's worth, I waited 30 and it still wouldn't open on a VERY good computer.
The only reason I'm pointing this out is to say that if there's a way for you to cut back on some of that waiting, I would definitely consider it. I know it's hard to let go of any piece of a vision but... the load time is really pretty obscene.
