SLEDGEHAMMER - EXPERIENCE THE 4TH DIMENSION - by geek rides
stats. 4D Coaster Length: 1220 m Speed: 110 km/h Height: 59 m Elements: 4 (loop drop, raven turn, loop, zero-g-roll, rolling horseshoe, stage dive) Trains: 2, each with 7 cars and a total of 28 seats
about. This project is part of the CoasterCrazy NL2 Tournament and my entry for round 2. It was created in July and August 2014. Inspired by the other three 4D Coasters obviously and the olympic stadium in Beijing. The name was chosen when i listened to the song of Peter Gabriel. Bit of a coincidence.

Realism - The track seems very realistic, I could definately see this at an upcoming Six Flags park somewhere or something similar to this. I enjoyed the colors too.
Technique - The way everything rolls out with the 4D effect and the track is epic.
Adrenaline - PUMPING!
Uniqueness - VERY unique, amazing queue line system how it intertwines with the track & the supports.
Rider Value- I feel this would and could be a main attraction at a theme park.
Perfect build. Realistic and custom supports, love the shaping, realistic size and layout.
From the rez point the first thing I noticed was the realism and detail in the track shaping, elements, and supports. Sledgehammer is certainly real world buildable and affordable.
Huge for me and spanning a few areas for 4D coasters is the roll of the cars. VERY well done here, I think there may be a hint of over-doing it on some elements but even still it was along realistic and well timed forces. Definitely the closest to real coasters that I have downloaded. This one actually feels like a 4D, I can tell the designer has actually been on one.
Sledgehammer has the best pacing I've ridden on a 4D to date. Random roll out of the gate aside I feel the element pitch and train rolls were spot on. Perfect realistic layout and certainly the new elements added are unique to existing 4D coasters, for a contest I would have liked to see maybe one more large element. How and where in the course I can't say so... Hope that helps.
I wish it had a vertical drop, still the best thing about these coasters. A tad too much play on the loop in terms of roll, and the roll out of the station is misplaced.
Also I don't much take into scoring theming but beautiful station and love the damaged smashed-out fencing!
