Hey, I know I said creating coasters will be difficult for me since I got my job in the navy, but I just can't stop doing it. Long story short: Here's my very first completed NL2 creation called Bright Falls. The trackwork for Bright Falls was made around 5 years ago with Newton (1) and I started to add scenery parts around 3 years ago...however I never managed to finish this project during the times of NL1. I somehow had no motivation because I wanted to create things which weren't possible in NL1. Then NL2 came out and gave me the opportunity to create this awesome scenario. I played with lights, scripts and heavy theming to get this Alan Wake (Game) like atmosphere and I hope you like this experience. I know the trackwork is far from being perfect. I think it's not even good...but remember it was made over 5 years ago. To cover the bad techical characteristics of the track itself I created this very detailled and extraordinary scenery. I hope you like the ride and rate it! Any criticism will be appreciated and if negative will be worked on in the future!
Wow just for the atmosphere alone this deserves a 10 love the Alan Wake theme throughout the ride. It really drew me in the moment I loaded it awesome ride.
Wow, what an amazing ride. As far as I can recall I even tested a very early version of this ride, but I might be wrong. Anyways it does not matter, the final product is amazing. Now since I have a POS PC, I hit only 5 FPS most of the time, and I feel like I migh not have expierenced it in its full content, but I'll try to rate it. Tech: Very good execution as always. The coaster looks and feels like a proper Mega-Lite. Adrenaline: Thrilling enough ride, I enjoyed it. Originality: Now, this thing oozes atmosphere. Having played Alan Wake (and really loved it), I think you captured the mood of the game very well, The soundtrack, the design, everything is top-notch. Thank you for this great ride.
This ride was just.. Wow. That's all I can say with a beauty like this. The Gloomy Setting and detail was spot on and definitely gave the creepy impression I thought it would. the ride was really fun, too. But in all it was just a one of its kind ride and made a spectacular edition to the exchange
Definitely on my like list - really cool coaster and I don't think the tech wasn't nearly as bad as your made out!
Technique Trackwork - I thought the trackwork was pretty good to be honest - the shaping felt good and your Newton work felt natural throughout. I think you did an especially good job with the final few corners with the pops of airtime in.
My only real complaint shaping wise was the first hill which didn't feel very natural as an element, I think it serves much better having the crest on the twist more than having an incline twist. The exit wa sa bit off in my opinion too. Points for invention though!
Supports - I thought your supportwork was also very good throughout - I most liked how you ensured that high force areas and the 2 tube track had more dense supports than the other areas which shows a better understanding of how things are working. I did however feel that the lift support that was dangling off the main truss felt a little redundant, I think it either need something additional adding to it, or being braced at less on an angle or perhaps just as a standard support!
Scenery - Excellent work with the scenery and theme - great execution throughout (the table on the first drop really really worked well!) and nice invention!
Adrenaline Pacing / Layout - The layout was packed with airtime at every moment which was great - especially in the back. I really enjoyed the sweeping turns and the ride felt like it was paced pretty well from start to end although it perhaps lost a bit of intensity towards the end. I didn't like the succession of right turns however as it felt a little repetitive.
Forces - The forces were also good - some great ejector airtime and well controlled positives. I guess some more floater airtime would've been good just to mix it up a little - I feel like you should've had a pause in the pace in the middle rather than at the end!
Uniqueness Layout / Elements - Very intamin-y in the layout - high G's and ejector airtime throughout but it did have a nice feel to it and the rising S-Hill was a nice addition.
Scenery - Fantastic scenery really set your ride apart from anything else out there! Good job!
Fantastic theming and atmosphere on this one! The ride itself sort of takes a back seat to the other factors and that's A-OK in this instance. I've recently come back to NL after a lengthy absence and find myself blown away with what is now capable in NL2. Keep it up, great coaster overall!!
I just wanted to say that the Scenery was unreal. Erie and exciting loved the way you set it up. I love the transitions of the coaster loved how it started slow and the lift just took off like a jet and over the hill we went. I loved the tunnel part as it was original and erie just wished for a 2nd tunnel. I loved the scenery and you should write a manual to this coaster as it was so original. It wasn't boring and I love the steam coming off the lake toward the end. keep up the work. a couple more bunny hills and it would have be all 10. Thanks
I have to say that that the coaster itself is a little bit boring. Not really bad just not very exciting. This almost hurts to say Because the scenery is absolutly gorgeous and easily the BEST I've ever seen in Nolimits. I can not even imagine how much work this had to be. The atmosphere is just haunting and super intense. When you walk through the streets around the track it almost feels like I can select my weapon with the number keys if you know what i mean . So again i'm so, so sorry that i fell the ride falls a bit flat after you absorbed the great world created around it but thats just how i fell. Anyway. Still amazing work! Still worth downloading. Keep it up!!!
