Renegade is located at Valleyfair Shakopee, MN. Built in 2006 by GCI. Standing 97 feet tall this coaster reaches 51 mph before twisting through high speed S-turns, and a high speed station fly by that give you an out of control feeling.
**Please note that this is a work in progress. Scenery in in rough draft and the supports are all auto. I would like feedback about the track work and its accuracy, please try to be specific.**
I rode the track several times, and did a few side by side comparisons of youtube POV, the attention to detail is phenomenal. The was one transition low to the ground that banked before rising that could use a little more attention, I put a screenshot in your thread. The flat turns I think are banked a little too much to not provide too many laterals, but it looks to be no more than 5 degrees or so on 2 of them. Overall fantastic work and I look forward to seeing this park realized virtually!
I tried to make this and it was hard, but this is the best coaster ever. the only thing with the track is the overbank after the drop. its not as curved as it should be. I would fix it for you but you spit the track into a billion little pieces. kinda hard to improve it like that.
Nice track layout, would like to see additional .3DS scene items added, flags, animated lighting on support railing, this could bring life in making it realistic/ more appealing. These are just suggestions in making roller coasters attractive. Scripting can be difficult for those who aren't programmers. I'm sure that many NL2 users would like to see an easy Gui for scripting .3DS items, I personally would.... Keep up the good work.
First of, Nice coaster, I havent been on the real ride but i've compared it with POV Video's and it look pretty close. The shaping could be better at a few places. The scenery you have already looks good so if you would continue at the same level of detail, i think it wil be a nice recreation.
Pretty good recreation so far. I would pay a little more attention to banking, and the shape of a couple elements. The exit of the first turnaround could be refined a bit.
Overall this felt like the ride, and from what little you can see the ride from inside the park, I think you've done a great job!
