My coaster named Echis. Here is a little information on what Echis is. Echis is a genus of venomous vipers found in the dry regions of Africa, the Middle East, Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka. They have a characteristic threat display, rubbing sections of their body together to produce a "sizzling" warning sound. The name Echis is a Greek word for "viper." Their common name is "saw-scaled vipers" and they include some of the species responsible for causing the most snakebite cases and deaths in the world. The coaster has a desert theme. Very dry and nothing around but a coaster. REV. 1: I added exit stairs to the station. REV. 2 I renamed the transports before the station and lift.
Overall a nice ride. If built, would enjoy strong ridership. Just a couple of minor hitches in the track.
As with many steel tracks, found it to be much more interesting from the rear seat, as opposed to the front.
Good pace. Did feel somewhat similar to some other rides. From the front, some of the elements felt a bit repetitive. Less apparent from further back.
Would have liked to have seen at least a bit of ground work. Tailoring the track to the environment adds a great deal to the visual impact. Consider adding some variations and the ratings will increase.
I don't have time to leave a really thorough rating but wanted to make sure I didn't forget. Honestly this track was way better than the image suggested... not a huge fan of how you chose to advertise and it really doesn't do your track justice. Another image or two of the actual track would be a big help.
T: Solid but a little lacking in the shaping if you were going for a more specifically B&M style. For the most part the overall shaping wasn't too bad but there were little blips like a late roll in the immelman. Track was not glass smooth but not overly bumpy/pumpy. Support work was serviceable if a little heavy handed. E-stop was OK but on a track this length I would have preferred to see a MCBR.
A: No real complaints except that it ran out of steam a little at the end, and got a little repetitive. I didn't feel like your elements were sufficiently scaled down by the last 750-1000 feet of track or so in order to keep the adrenaline as high as it had been to start.
I understand that it was a thematic choice and it didn't affect your rating MUCH, but roller-coaster-in-a-barren-field is very NL 1.0.
U: The only thing that really saved you here was the fact that you didn't rely on a more prototypical B&M element order, but that's a pretty big thing.
R: Pretty realistic, but lacking in some details that would have pushed it further.
RV: Totally solid. No real reason I can think of to avoid a reride, though all those twisting elements at the end might cause some nausea even for the strongest of stomachs.
