Welcome to JD Coasters! The main aim of this project is to release all of my previous ideas for rides that never get finished due to me placing too much emphasis on theme/story and 3D modelling. Therefore I am going to be releasing them as plain rides, with no additional theme or scenery so as to release as many as possible. Some may be recreations of real coasters while others will be original designs.
Once released, these rides can be used by anyone with or without credit, maybe as a filler for a larger park project, or just for your enjoyment to play.
Technique:10- this layout and style of ride is very believable and you did a great job. Adrenaline:3- this isn't a shocker, but I didn't want to give you a 0 here Uniqueness:5-average Realism:10- this is definitely a great family coaster that parks would have Rider value:7-its a nice addition to any park for variety aspect
Fun little steel kiddie coaster. Was a very fun coaster. However the train comes out to far and actually is in the lift block and the station block at the same time which causes issues if in manual mode then trying to switch back to automatic mode.
R/T - The appearance, feel and overall look of this coaster was amazing, VERY realistic! I feel like this ride would fit go great in an older Camp Snoopy area at a Cedar Fair park. The layout of the ride was executed well... shaping, transitions and pacing were all spot on for this type of coaster!
A/U - Like I said, this ride would go well in a Camp Snoopy, which means it would be a great hit for smaller children that aren't ready for the bigger rides. Tbh, I've never since a ride like this (on the exchange or in real life) until now. As a matter of fact, I had to go look it up before I downloaded it so I had an idea of what to expect when I rode it!
RV - The rider value was okay. Like I said, good for the smaller children but, I don't think it'd be a ride that older kids would necessarily enjoy... It's definitely not a ride that I'd pay for individually but if it was included with everything else, I'd make it a point to ride it at least once... or twice!
Great job! Can't to see more of what you're working on, especially the Elmwood Park!
I already downloaded and rated on NLE but I'm doing so again here since you can't seem to get a legitimate rate.
I've ridden it a number more times since then so I do have a bit more to say, but there's so little to nitpick here because it's a great recreation.
Sidenote: It's not a very exciting ride but much like on NLE I wasn't going to give you a terrible Adrenaline score for choosing to recreate a family ride.
Watching some POVs again and then your ride, my big complaint right now is the pacing. It really looks like the track is very accurate, so I'm not sure why the pacing should feel so different on your ride, but to me it does. I realize that not everyone has the professional version, but if you do you might want to fool around with some custom friction. Even if you don't, maybe one of the other pre-set friction choices would work better? I'm not sure...
Everything else is pretty much spot on. I wish it were a little easier to implement custom trains as the bumping continues to drive me crazy, but it's barely worth it for this project I suppose.
Uniqueness is high for choosing to recreate a ride that many others would not. The rest are self-explanatory.
This little thing is fun. its like a smal track in a children funpark. The supportdesign is very accurate, no headchoppers. it looks like it could work in real all in all not really special or dramatic. but its nice, cute, minimal - i love it!!!!!
