Rival biker gangs, The Cobras (green) and The Phantoms (blue), are ready to rumble. Engines are revving and the big race is about to start-- but there's a catch: the losing gang has to leave town. Forever. On this mobius loop dueling Motorbike coaster, riders of all ages can experience the rush of a true ride-or-die race for their lives. After being launched forward at near-highway speeds, both teams will twist and turn through 1,640 feet of track while popping wheelies, cutting each other off, spinning out and desperately trying to catch up to the other team. While the fastest bikers are off celebrating, the losers will be left coughing in the exhaust.
Max. height: 45ft Max. speed: 40mph
Supports are pre-fab. I'll update them soon.
***If anyone converts this to NL2, I would love to see how it looks. Unfortunately I'm on Mac and still can't use it.***
T- The timing of the trains was nearly impeccable. However, there were some noticeable jerks in the track, and it's easy to tell that the track was handbuilt.
A- Again, the trains interacted great, but since it is a family ride the thrill factor wouldn't be too large, nor would the the pacing/intensity
O- This was definitely a unique concept that would make a fantastic family ride. The story you set up was great too.
Technique- You did a great job with the timing! The two trains always finish within inches of each other, despite the totally different layouts. Watch your banking, though. There were some spots with laterals reaching the uncomfortable side of green, as well as a few small pumps.
Adrenaline- You said this was a family coaster, so I'll rate it as such. The launch was exciting and the near-miss elements were very cool, but the track on the right lost a lot of speed toward the end.
Uniqueness- This speaks for itself. I have yet to see another dueling family coaster.
Realism- With a little track revision and some light theming, I can definitely see this at a real amusement park. Great concept!
Rider Value- Again, I'm taking into account that this is a family ride. It's definitely gentle enough for younger riders looking to move on to the "big" rides, but still exciting enough for parents or older siblings. Having two different tracks definitely makes it rerideable, and with some theming it could be a totally immersive ride.
Overall, this is a really neat family coaster with a great story. I look forward to more from you!
