IMPORTANT: The file that I uploaded on this website is a dummy file because I seem to always encounter an error when I try to upload the original file. However, the dummy file contains download links for both versions of Lawin (Day and Night) in the park description! Simply extract the package that I uploaded to this site and copy-paste the provided link. Alternatively, here is the link to download the files. Simply click on the nl2pkg files and then click on the download icon at the top of the screen:

The day version features a custom environment which I made myself using the Skygen Skybox Generator (http://www.nutty.ca/webgl/skygen/), while the night version features some custom lighting which I am very much proud of.

Also, in order to view the ride with all of the scenery included, please download nSeven's Foliage Set and TheCodeMaster's Rock Kit (links to the NoLimits Exchange):

Extract all of the included folders into your \com.nolimitscoaster.nolimits2\ folder.

NOTE: Please do try to view the park in walk mode and actually enter Lawin's queue line. :P Lawin's queue line features the ride's theme and storyline, which you may find interesting.

......

My home park is Enchanted Kingdom, an amusement park located in the Philippines. I love Enchanted Kingdom. It's a place where I've had a lot of amazing memories. And I think Enchanted Kingdom has a lot of potential.

Recently they've announced a massive 100 million dollar expansion, and although the exact details haven't been released to the public, the park has said that part of the expansion will be a new themed area that aims to showcase Filipino culture. This ride right here is my dream coaster that could be built in the new themed area.

Lawin is a Mack Launched Coaster themed to the Filipino legend of Bakunawa. Basically, there was once a time when there were seven moons in the night sky. Enchanted by the beauty of the seven moons, Bakunawa, a massive sea dragon from the underworld, took flight and consumed six of them before Bathala (the Filipino counterpart of God) punished him. He was believed to be the reason for lunar eclipses (people believed Bakunawa was trying to swallow the last remaining moon). (The "Lawin" featured in the story is something I included myself and is not part of the original mythology. :P)

Lawin features two LSM launches. The first one launches you to 76 km/h and the second one launches you to 80 km/h. It features a variety of elements, such as airtime hills, overbanked turns, and zero-G rolls. But the most intense element of the ride comes towards the end of the ride -- the Divebomb Roll, which would be a world first if built. The Divebomb Roll is a combination of two consecutive barrel rolls shaped in a hill-like fashion, resulting in 4 seconds of ejector airtime while twisting upside down.

Lawin would open with the brand-new themed area (which I've called "Nayong Amihan", the "village of the cool breeze") that would also feature new shows, food, and games. Another ride which I added into the themed area is an observation tower ride named Palosebo (named after a game played during town fiestas where one has to climb to the top of a greased bamboo pole to win).

I think Lawin would be an amazing addition to the park if this somehow became a reality. It would be the Philippines' first ever launched coaster (highly marketable), it would would be just the right height (27.5 meters) to attract thrill seekers but not overly intimidate novice riders, it would have what I think is a unique theme (Most people who live in the area where I live don't even know the legend of Bakunawa!), and I think it would be one of the best roller coasters in Asia, as it is a very fast, smooth, and twisted ride with some of the best airtime in the continent.

Enjoy your ride!

......

Welcome to Enchanted Kingdom, the Philippines' first and only world-class theme park! This 2015, to celebrate 20 years of bringing magic and happiness to our guests, we open our new themed area, Nayong Amihan, which features brand-new attractions that showcase the Philippines' rich culture and history.

With Nayong Amihan opens not just one, but TWO amazing new rides! LAWIN: CONQUER THE DRAGON is the Philippines' first ever launched roller coaster. Reach speeds of over 84 km/h and experience breathtaking twists and turns, including the world's first ever Divebomb Roll Inversion, as you fly with the Lawin, the legendary winged beast that patrols the skies, and fight the evil dragon Bakunawa!

Another star attraction added this year to Enchanted Kingdom's unique ride lineup is PALOSEBO, the Philippine's tallest theme park attraction. On this unique ride designed for the whole family, riders board an air-conditioned gondola, which ascends up a 99-meter tall tower to provide a breathtaking 360-degree view of Enchanted Kingdom and the city of Santa Rosa!

We hope you enjoy these brand new additions to Enchanted Kingdom as we celebrate 20 magical years of bringing you one-of-a-kind, world-class entertainment. Have a wonderful day at Enchanted Kingdom!

The coaster has a lot of theming which all looks really good. It has very nice elements and a good speed. Maybe it could've used a bit more speed or height but that might be a personal opinion.

The coaster has a load and unload station. When exiting the ride you'll walk next to the load station. I think this won't be done in real life because there would be a chance that the train leaves as some people are still packing their bags which can create a dangerous situation.

The queue has two parts: The first part is heavily themed and the second part is just a normal queue. I think it would be better to switch these parts. Now everyone would just walk past the story and waits in the "boring" queue section if the ride doesn't have a full queue line.

BTW, I laughed pretty hard when walking to the entrance and hearing the music which might be a bit too happy. XD

This is a tricky one to rate for me since I don't know jack about Mack rides.

The only thing in your environment that I didn't like is that the poles you used for your queue lines were too thick. Otherwise everything was really well thought out and I like the little environment you made around the ride. The story in the queue house was cool, and I like that you included the games and stuff as well.

The trackwork itself was pretty smooth and the G's were not out of control. You had a couple lateral spikes, but I'm letting them slide because Blu Fire has the wonky barrel roll at the end for whatever reason and Mack seems to like making those. Occasionally the banking got bumpy in the rolls (I've done that too), but otherwise I have nothing to complain about. The double roll at the end after the second launch was brilliantly executed. The supports were fine and I have no complaints there.

The ride did remind me of Manta, especially in that chute after the second launch, so I'll consider that a plus in the realism department and you've succeeded in making a Mack coaster. You made a great layout that felt realistic and didn't drag out forever. Good job.

Thank you so much for the rates everyone! The music at the beginning is actually the theme song of the real park. :P Will be taking account all your comments in the future. Really glad all of you guys like it!

I love coasters with good themes!
The coaster worked like it should. The track after the brakes was long but I liked it because those last rolls would make you dizzy. The station was a bit weird because I didn't find a way off the station. I needed to walk over two station platforms to leave it. It is maybe better to put a sign there. As far as I go with finding bad things I didn't find much.
You models were simple but good! But I don't really know if the text on the models were optimized.
Your track was realistic and the surroundings were nice done.
But I don't understand why theres happy loud music in the beginning, I think that made the story less important. I don't know, It can be me.

Overall I love mack coasters and you have done a great job on this! Keep making coasters! :)

I enjoyed this ride quite a lot - it's definitely on my "like" list. I felt the ride layout was good a pretty varied, although you did have a 'signature turn' that featured quite heavily I thought the ride was varied enough for this not to be noticable. The double roll was very well executed and I thought the tight exit from this was exceptional too.

Realism wise I felt some of your 3D work was lacking, such as the queue line fences feeling far too bulky and very much hemmed the peeps in, also as Herman noted you shouldn't be required to walk past the loading train once you've unloaded. I'm struggling for things to really pick you up on otherwise - the terrain surrounding the area was pretty flat - so it would have been nice to have seen some variation to the terrain (in terms of textures too)

What I also enjoyed was that the second half of the ride felt as good as the first, whilst a little shorter you used the pace of the launch well to maintain good pacing. The first half did slightly lack interaction - although the multiple crossovers did help a lot.

I certainly look forward to your next creation!

Feel free to pm me about your rate! [:

note: I felt the queue line story was very good although i didn't really feel it carried on throughout the vast majority of the ride.

the park is good, but there should be a few more ride, perhaps one on the lake (log flume, pedalo boat etc), and with lawin, the exit platform could be changed to another loading platform, to make a dual-loading/dual-unloading station. also, i do wish that the purple half-pipe coaster actually worked.
good park!
