One of my craziest project ever! I'm pretty happy with the results, of course it's not perfect, I don't even think it could be build in real life.
I know it doesn't have an observation deck, or a restaurant or another attraction on top, like the ones they are gonna build have, but does everything has to be exactly the same? I just wanted this project to be about the coaster itself!
You also might notice that instead of going only around the tower, this ride also goes inside! This gave me the opportunity to add some elements the other ones can't have! For example: this ride includes a looping!
If it was a real ride it would be #8 on the World longest coasters list (1901,77 M / 6239,4 Ft ) And the #5 on the world Tallest coasters list. (111.25 M 365,995 Ft)
A fun take on a rather extreme wild mouse. All the reverse camber and negative Gs... It rates low on realism because I don't see something like this actually getting built, and there are no storage tracks. But I don't think that was the point of this track, anyway.
THIS COASTER IS INSANE... The idea to make a PolerCoaster going TROUGHT the structure is great. I like that you seriously just put a Loop in it xD But tbh some sections are slightly under supportet, like the curve near the end. I also didn't like that this ride on some sections are so slow, that i would think it's roll back.
Anyways good that you finished your PolerCoaster, i need to finish mine.
And again that ride has so many crazy, and uniqe elements.. It's just amazing.
The way it looks from a distance is spectacular and draws you to it. Watching the trains zigzag through the structure and track is mesmerizing.
Once on the ride the vertical launch took my breath away and got me so disorientated and I didn't know which way was up or where I was for the next 2 minutes! I had no idea what was coming next and when the vertical drop hit I was taken by surprise. Then the Screaming Squirrel type hanging section left me petrified! The twisted inverting curves completed the dizzying experience along with the 0g vertical curves. I came to my senses at the final inversion with the hanging brakes and final dive loop drop when I realised I was back at ground level.
This ride had it all and I rode it 10+ times in a row and still was caught off guard by the twistiness and elements. Also, Gs were in check from what I could tell.
Your ride is visually impressive. The onionish Russian dome this is neat to see, and the sprawl looks really cool from far away. I like that you approached this concept a bit differently. The top isn't an inversion, it's strictly just a coaster, there is no central observation tower/drop ride/whatever else, it's just the coaster. You also made yours a bit more S&S-like.
The ride wasn't repetitious, which is good with a somewhat limiting design like this, although you definitely had more wiggle room by deciding to kill a central tower to wrap the ride around. The only thing I really didn't like was the 180 degree saxophone part. It's definitely different and would have been thrilling so high up, and I know yours is more controlled than how S&S does it, but I always felt those were super gimmicky and just an excuse to hang on the restraints. The S&S things like that look like an attraction that is purchased by people in charge of parks who don't ride rides. Also the upsidedown brake run....not needed lol.
The layout was decently exciting and didn't crawl to a slow pace in unneeded places. I get you had space constraints and that you can't whip a train around an outbanked curve going mph without killing people, so you get a pass on that. You managed the speed well and the layout had interesting variety, so no major complaints here.
The supports were very good and well made. I would only change two things. The first issue I saw is that they're not connected to each other horizontally much near the bottom. I get that the track gets in the way somethings near the bottom so you can't space them out horizontally, but it almost looks like you got halfway down the tower and forgot. I've made a spaghetti bowl before so I sympathize with you on it being difficult to see. The other thing is it seemed a bit odd to cantilever the supports off of the tower for the track that is like 2 meters off the ground. The second is nitpicking though.
Overall this was a fun visually impressive ride. Good job on it and I hope you upload more!
