History of the ride:
When Roller Coaster Corporation of America was fired from the Son of Beast project, they were still trying to build and design an inverting coaster. So, when Michael Black, RCCA's president and his family went to Yomiuriland in Japan, they met people from Togo. Then, Mr Black talked with Togo about the company's idea to build an inverting roller coaster. They said yes because they already worked together for the White Canyon construction. So, in 2001, work started for a new state of the art roller coaster designed by Togo and built by RCCA. The steel parts of the ride were provided by Togo. It was one of their last roller coaster built before they went bankrupt because of the Knott's Berry Farm lawsuit.
Technique: The ride was very rough in some parts :/ I liked the shaping of most elements though The roughness just took a bit away from the ride.... Adrenaline: Although it is rough, it certanly packs a punch!! Really awesome adrenalin rush, in the drop and the first inversion, especially Uniqueness: Perfect. Never seen anything close to this!! Realism: The ride was very unrealistic in terms of supports, track work, forces and building style. Rider value: Even though it is unrealistic, and rough, the ride still packs a punch and has some decent scenery, and some good adrenaline moments! Nice work, Aymeric!
Comment: The fps rate was terrible, even on good computers :/
It's a nice coaster, i really like all details and environement. It's not the style of coaster I like, but I like your work. Well done, rules of the contest were not easy
Just FYI, "a little laggy" doesn't even begin to cover it. My computer has decent specs and this was almost unrideable. I dunno if you can/want to upload a daytime version or something else that is easier to ride and rate, but I was unable to actually give you a rating because of the serious framerate issues.
