The ride started with an idea of doing a maverick styled ride, with more interaction with the theming, and without the launch. In this first phase, the ride had a jojo-roll before the lift, but i removed that later on, to make it more intamin-ish. The ride also had a steeper drop, and had only 3 cars on each train, i changed the drop to a more shallow one (still 83 degrees, lol) to make it possible to have 5 cars, to increase the capacity, without having a mcbr too.
That basically brings us to the current version. At least for the actual track.
The scenery started with the basic house with the hole in the side, then came the queue, and all of the theming around the coaster and in the queue. Then i added the photo building, and the entrance plaza. Everything that is in and around the coaster is 100% custom.
For both the coaster and the scenery i had maverick in mind. I wanted to make a shorter, not as intense version, with better theming, and more interactions with it. I was also kind of inspired by Blue Fire, Helix, Speed Monster and Outlaw Run.
The Project started in August, as "Hypnosia," i abandoned it, but returned to it in November, where it got named ???Project Hurricane" in December.
Wow! That was a great ride! Its clear you build with a lot of intention and control, and thus the trackwork was spot on. That being said, here are my (minor) nitpicks:
- Some of the supports clip into the pats, or other .3ds objects. - The fences are 2d objects, which is fine, but it would be nice to see them as 3d objects. - There are no storage areas for the train. Wouldn't want the trains rotting out in the sun/rain/etc.
Technique: You did an amazing job with that ride, the pacing of each elements is awesome. Adrenaline: You don't have a moment to take a breath. Uniqueness: Only 7 because your coaster is mostly inspired by many Intamin Blitz coaster but I have noticed some airtime hills which are really RMC inspired. Realism: Yes it is realist but some sceneries are strange and looks too sketchuped. But the overall is just amazing. Rider Value: Would love to try that ride, the forces are good so not a bad ride.
Great Job guy !! This coaster is very good and so smooth. I love the way you combine sceneries with track. Cartexture, colors and sceneries are very good to. This coaster includes a lot of airtime hills and a good number of inversions. The only negative point is maybe the drop, it's a bit to stepper for the last row, but the rest of coaster is amazing. Good job
