Track Description
A couple of years back I was thinking about how great it would be to have a 370+ foot giga in real life, but I realized that would probably never happen because it would cost SO much for the ultra high supports and the towering elements that it would have. Then I had an Idea - Why not build my own giga that hugged the natural terrain so that the elements would be tall, but they wouldn't be too high off the ground. It would lower the material and construction costs and create an interesting ride! Due to that idea way back in October of 2014, Hejdl??st was born.

This ride was not done by myself alone. While I did the trackwork, supports, 3d work, and the basic terraforming/foliage, I credit nSeven for transforming Hejdl??st into the concept that I originally imagined. After I handed the ride over to him, he completely transformed the environment, foliage, and cartextures, plus he filmed a badass video, so hats of to him.

I started this ride years ago, and I am relieved that I can finally say that Hejdl??st is DONE! I hope everyone enjoys riding it as much as I did creating it, and I am excited to move on to bigger and better things.

This park is incredibly beautiful. The terrain is very thoughtfully done and the way the coaster interacts with the ravines is just incredible.

I haven't rated on the exchange in years probably, but I had to speak up because of this roller coaster. You never see designs like this on the exchange anymore and this is truly something to be proud of. And P.S. the start point and view when you enter the sim on this file is on point.

Technique: I don't know where to begin. This is f*** near perfect B&M work. It rings Fury 325 with the quick banking transitions and aggressive positive forces. The supports look great and so does each individual element. The long MCBR serves as a realistic extension of the typical B&M giga, and I love that you included it. It surprised me that you added a second half, in a good way. Almost every turn of this layout surprised me and I was in awe, especially during the first hammerhead/Stengel type element. The first half of this ride is like a giant, modernized version of Nitro. I thought the transition into the rightwards hammerhead after the first tunnel was overly powerful, and I think two of the airhills have transitions that are a little too sharp. Also, no wheels should be used on an MCBR of this type. The track spine and footers were crossing into the terrain on the first drop pull-up. None of these issues really impact the overall quality of the ride. I didn't sense any other issue with the trackwork.

Adrenaline: I would keel if B&M dumped out something more like this. It's an incredibly exciting take on the modern B&M giant. Every moment is perfectly timed and the adrenaline doesn't require much explaining. It's heavy.

Originality: This one is spilling over the edges with originality. I like to imagine realistic gigas and stratas that give a little push against the normal, and your design is outstanding in that respect. The way that the two big valleys were touched perfectly almost brought me to tears. One of my weaknesses is a well-thought out layout with great utilization of valleys. Props to you.

Realism: There is no doubt in my mind that you spent a crapload of time on this one. The realism is reflected heavily in the shaping and supports. Of course nobody is expecting a B&M full circuit layout nearing 400 feet, but you found a way to imagine that in a very realistic way. It's to say that if B&M made a tallass giga with terrain interaction, it could look like this. You did wonderful work.

Rider Value: $10 million thousand

For the record, I think the person that hit this track with a 7.45 should be smacked right in the mouth.

Great job dude(s)!

I love hyper/giga coasters, and this coaster didn't let me down. It had lots of twists and turns, plenty of airtime and tons of speed. I loved all the unique elements you used, it wasn't your basic hill, hill, turnaround. G forces were done well too, like B&M you had the valleys stay at a constant force throughout the valley like they should. The supports were ok but I felt like the lateral supports were all at a 45?? angle and were too steep. I think about 25-30?? would be about right, but they still looked good . The scenery was awesome the only think I feel it lacked was maybe some flat rides.

There are only 3 things that I think could turn this coaster into a legend.
1 - my biggest pet peeve, fix that error message. I think I will start a thread to help people fix their errors. Its like your excited to try out the ride and then the first thing you see when it opens is an error, its sort of a bummer.
2 - No friction wheels on the MCBR.
3 - The transfer track is all crooked. I have no idea why its like that but it makes it look not realistic. I would rotate the transfer to line up with the station and redo the turn from the break run.

I had been following this project for a while and it looked really good in all the promotions on the construction thread. This project was quite hyped up, especially after nSeven took it to pretty it up. However, I was pretty disappointed with some things once I opened up the park. Given that the track was uploaded as a B&M in the realistic category, I looked into the little details that make or break a B&M styled coaster. There were a lot of little things that could have been easily fixed to make the coaster top notch. It was unfortunate to see that a lot of supports did not terminate at the footers correctly. There were also quite a few spots where the terrain was too high such that the footers were clipping into the track itself. Most shockingly, there was more than one spot where the actual terrain itself was so high that it clipped into the track. There are also some other technical issues that are a no go. The MCBR has friction tires enabled which B&M never includes on a brake run. I also came across another problem with the MCBR. When performing an E stop test, the train successfully stopped on the MCBR, but would not move after e stop was disabled, despite the inclusion of friction tires. One pet peeve of mine is when a transport or lift section has its acceleration set too high such that there is a noticeable jolt in the speed. This occurred at the base of the lift where the train engages with the kicker tires before the chain. As for the supports, there were overall too many supports (over supported) as well as supports that were over flanged. In the future, I really suggest that you take some time to look at reference photos of the support style you are trying to copy when making your track. There were also some other technical things that seemed out of place or missing for proper B&M style, but those are more minor things.

On a side note, it was a bit strange where the park starts the player. I felt that a more appropriate location would have been the plaza that was created for the ride, instead of a rock in the middle of the forest.

Now, having pointed out the bad things, I do have some compliments to give. The overall concept is really original and pretty well executed. The coaster does have a nice presence on the skyline. The track work was really smooth and mimicked elements that would be found on a B&M. The environment and terrain are also very unique and visually appealing.

Overall, if you are trying to go for a realistic coaster, it is best to do some research and look at plenty of reference photos when designing your coaster in the future. Sometimes, the small details can make the biggest difference between a good track and an excellent track.
