Xeno is my 4th rollercoaster created with NoLimits 2.
Sorry for my terrible english.
It's a custom Gerstlauer triple launch coaster. It features a switch to the launch track so it would have a decent capacity.
I got lots of reactions about the switch that this idea isn't realistic because the train keeps going while it's closing the launch track. The switch is completed before the train hits the block-section on the way back, it would completely brake down the train before it hits the switch. ( Like the system used on the Vekoma Launch Coasters & S&S Launch Coasters, when it doesn't have enough speed it brakes to a complete stop.
It features 5 inversions. Starting with a Immelman, after some high-speed curves there's an Norwegian Loop, after an airtime-hill and some curves you get a twisted-out-corkscrew and at last an dive loop before hitting the brakes.
Because I don't know anything about scripting, this ride can only run once a simulation. If you want to re-ride, please restart the simulation.
I hope you enjoy & leave me feedback for future uploads!
- Realism 8,5: I never heard of this type of rollercoasters before and did a little research. I found out that there's already an Intamin coaster that kinda uses the same launch system, also in Moviepark Germany MACK Rides is building a coaster with a same system. There is one thing different tho. Your ride keeps on going and I don't know if that would be save or not. I noticed some brakes and read the discription. If it would be possible it would be awesome.
- Technique 8,0: Without using scripts and creating something like this is awesome, the track was quite smooth too, it's nice to see people handbuilding rides. The reason for 8,5 is that some transactions create a little too much lateral g-forces. Also it could have used an midcourse brake.
Adrenaline 8,5: Awesome, it keeps on going and the last dive-loop into the brakes was a nice suprise. Things like this as ending always make the rider feel wow when riding back into the station. Very nice.
Uniqueness 9,25: For me, I have never seen something like this before working without scripts, well done.
Rider Value 9,0: Yes, yes, yes, I like the layout, terrain and it gives nice positive and negative g-forces. A little airtime and hangtime in the backwards part. Well done.
I think you did a great job, this was a nice well made coaster. I also liked the video.
