Reaches a speed of 48 mph (77 km) on a 2956 ft long track (901m) and a height of 85 ft (26m) with a 55??????drop; height limit 1,2m, and on wet days it reaches 55 mph. Megafobia has been voted one of the best wooden roller coasters in the world.
Opened: 1996
Original built by: Custom Coasters Int. (CCI)
This is a first Version (1.0) which is heavily inspired by Megaphobia!
It was almost spot on but there are some issues with the layout but only minor ones. It also gets a little too slow a couple of corners before the end brake run.
Not sure why but the second train is on the track backwards and I know it's nitpicking but the train colours are wrong.
Good effort though, with some tweaking it could be more accurate.
Just as a disclaimer I don't actually know Megaphobia's layout at all, but this damn well looks right lol.
As far as trackwork goes, it seems spot on like you cared about the shaping, so no real complaints here. If you told me you were trying to make a CCI without the title I'd say you did the job. The supports needed adjust. You had a couple floating sections and some crossovers that needed help as well. Also what is with the backwards trains? The real ride does that?
Sorry I don't have much more to say about this, but you didn't really screw anything up aside from the floating supports I can see (such a shame too, supports can really bring a ride together). Bang up job on the recreation though, I can't handle recreations at all.
