Cliff's Amusement Park is proud to announce the most extreme roller coaster in the state of New Mexico...Albuquerque Sidewinder. Built by Rocky Mountain Construction (commonly referred to as RMC), this new coaster is an I-Box design built on the skeleton of the former New Mexico Rattler. Standing 95 ft. tall and with a track length of 2834 ft., Albuquerque Sidewinder features a series of drops, airtime moments, high-speed turns, and 2 inversions during the 1 minute, 40 second ride. During their ride, passengers will experience:
-An 82 ft. twisting drop -5 overbanked turns -A reverse banked turn -A triple down, the first on an RMC coaster -A corkscrew turn, another RMC first -The world's first hanging curve -An underground tunnel -The Serpentine Slalom, a series of high-speed switchback curves
With an emphasis on thrills but a design suitable for many members of the family, Albuquerque Sidewinder promises to be the most popular attraction at Cliff's Amusement Park for years to come.
