In 2006, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno bowed down to their new big brother, the mighty Stealth. The Intamin-built hydraulic launched coaster themed to a 50??????s speedway in little ol?????? Amity Cove saw Thorpe Park break their 100ft mainland height restriction as the ??????top hat?????? element took riders further skyward than ever before. Standing at a monumental 205ft, Stealth is one very imposing structure that can be seen from all around the park. Only the brave tackle the ride, which launches its riders from 0 ?????? 80mph in 1.8 seconds. The only way you??????ll ever feel the same acceleration is if you??????re a pilot in a jet being launched of an aircraft carrier.
Once seated and fastened in, the train rolls into position. Riders in the two front seats can see the heat coming from the launch-dog as it rolls under the train, locking into place. All eyes are on the red light in front. A brief look up at the 205ft SOARING ascent, and the sound of revving engines before the second, third, fourth and fifth red light appear. Then green. And in under two seconds you??????re racing along the world-famous Amity Speedway before climbing the top hat. You??????ll have seconds to savour the view of the park as you crest the enormous ride and plummet back down to earth, pulling up into an airtime hill before the gentle whirr of the breaks brings you to a smooth stop.
NOTE: DO NOT SPEED IT UP OR THE AUDIO WILL GO OUT OF SYNC!
the track was well put to the sound track you put for this recreation it looked like the real thing I saw in videos on youtube I would say you have one of the best stealth tracks to date
The track work did not mimic that of the ride properly; there were numerous track imperfections and jolts, particularly at the trough after the arch; The height of the ride is 20ft too great (I might be picky here); The braking run had the car at a near halt far before it should do, a hill with no visible brakes. From this point to the station is one where the car keeps jolting between very slow to very fast with no clear insight to the ride or reason as for why such inconsistencies would occur. However, the pre launch sequence bared a resemblance to the ride itself which was nice to see.
It is frustrating that there isn't a decent recreation of such a brilliant ride, though the scenery related to the ride might not have been possible, with exception to the colours and the vague shape of he supports to the top hat, this is a poor aesthetic and technical recreation with little evidence of any effort put into this. This is a short ride, so what little track that is there should be done right.
