For as long as humans can remember, the Chinese Dragon has been a symbol of prosperity and dynastic power! At Wabash Valley, we have been ruling over the Indiana theme park industry for several decades. Given that 2024 is the year of the dragon, We thought we'd take the opportunity to expand our empire for the first time in five years, and show the rest of the midwest what we're made of!
Opening in time for Spring Festival, Shanghai Dragon delivers an experience never seen before in the state of Indiana! Opening as the tallest and fastest coaster in the Hoosier state, this leviathan delivers incredible pacing with plenty of that delicious floater airtime. At night, the fury of this coaster comes to life under the gentle red glow of over 2,000 paper lanterns!
If coasters aren't exactly your thing, you can catch a Sichuan opera or our amazing Chinese dance troupe over at the Golden Palace Theater. You can also grab some Dim Sum at the Dim Sum dojo! No matter what you decide to do at Wabash Valley now, Shanghai Dragon will always be looming overhead, daring you to take flight and witness the power and speed that this gargantuan can deliver!
