It is with the greatest pleasure that I welcome you to Crabwood!
This small park features two action packed roller coasters and several exciting flatrides.
The two featured rides: Stag - A gravity group out and back terrain woodie. This roller coaster will thrash riders through intense air hills, highly banked turns, and many fast transitions that will persistently keep you on the edge of your seat. Well, more often you're being pulled out of it, come to think of it.
Valkyrie - A launched B&M sit-down roller coaster. This ride will send riders on a glorious trip to Valhalla, launching into the sky before diving through several inversions, all sprawling over a prominent hill in the park. The varied terrain allows for a unique layout and an interesting order of B&M's classic elements.
I'm very proud to bring you these roller coasters and the park encompassing them. I hope you enjoy your visit to this small park and it's deceptively intense roller coasters.
Sorry, I meant to download and rate this earlier but just didn't have the time and patience for it . I think you created a very nice little park but there's certainly room for improvement.
Technique: Both rides were top notch as to be expected from you. Butter smooth and very much in style of the ride type.
Adrenaline: I loved the sequence of elements on Valkyrie. Especially the corkscrew followed by the butterfly element. Very unique and unexpected. ( I just jumped in the queue of each ride before checking the layout so I hadn't seen it comming). thumbs up right there! As for Stag: I like the classic out-and-back woodie feel but with some modern takes like the very steep first drop and loads of airtime.
Uniqueness: I know it takes a lot of work but I'd love to see more parks like this. It creates a setting for the rides so they look more like they were designed specifically for that spot in the park rather than be a stand alone ride. It was also fun wandering around the park and the "intro"was a very nice touch! Loved it.
Realism: Here's where I think you can improve. Overall the park could benefit from more custom work. There were some custom paths and buildings but it wasn't themed much. Maybe I just prefer theme parks over amusement parks . Things you could specifically improve on though: The queue for valkyrie was very narrow. It felt pretty cramped. And the texture for the parking lot was a bit oversized. Also I'd like to see more custom paths where you have the boardwalks now.
Rider Value: The rides are top notch and very unique. I like them a lot. Keep up the great work!
Note: FPS for me wasn't bad. It dropped down to 12 in some cases but never below that on my MSI gaming laptop with Nvidia GTX970M graphics card.
