why cant we upload files here? why do we have 2 go 2 coaster candy?

not everybody has a 2000 kbps internet connection... downloading a 4 megabyte coaster file with all the extras takes a really long time for people with dial-up, etc. Just uploading the track file and the car texture keeps it simple enough for everyone to enjoy.

although we're working on that, there are things like costs of the site, cuz adding bigger files means using more bandwidth and that greatly increases our overhead costs here. That is why we have not allowed the upload of extra files. Only VIP's and staff are currently allowed to upload extras in their files, but most seem to do otherwise [:p] With the new year coming and the stuff we have set in mind, we might just allow them. But don't be, say, confident that we will. It's still something I am considering.
