If anyone uses FVD++, they can better easily match it up with the template than in Newton.
Should points be taken off for failing e-stop on launches? I don't totally get that whole bit.
Can the first vertex be moved any?

Using bake segments for launches helps things not to fail. But if it does happen, just refer to bottom_feeder_13's post to see my opinion.

But none of that really hits here so it's okay.

Yes. But it will drop your score considerably.

Yes, but it may be difficult to match the ride with the template.

I don't know if I can make a ride with good supports that quickly. I think I will drop out. Sorry.

Fine, I'll try. It won't be good because I stink at custom supports, and I won't have time for a newton. If I get last, you guys won't think worse of my NL skills, right? ;-)

You can only get better if you try man! Practice makes perfect.

EDIT:

Been working a LOT today.

Added Ajax_Coasters.

And am also annoyed that his layout is already much better than mine.

Sorry, but with after my complicated project, The Phoenix, and school starting, I'm taking a break from major projects at the moment and am not going to participate. I will, however, participate in the voting. My Phoenix project involved music creation, video editing, newton, and logo creation. I'd love it if you saw what I just spent the last 2 months doing:

I'm kind of exhausted from NL at the moment. I will stay in tune with you guys.

Normal judging week. Just rate all of the rides like everyone else.

Might as well jump in with a preview screen of my layout too:

Ha ha ha! Good luck trying to decode what it will look like based just on the graphs, and with no indication of heartline, x and y axes, or initial values.
For all you know, it could be a last placed 55 G inducing death machine or something actually awesome and creative.
NOTE: Any part of this is subject to change.

I think supporting this ride is going to be the fun part :D or at least the interesting part!

Back to a more conventional way of showing progress...

Remember to make your rides look like actual ride. Make intamin launchers have real intamin launch fins instead of the ones nl gives you. Things like that will yl help you get a better score from me.

^some people don't have the ability to do that. I mean, I could do it with supports, but that isn't a priority in a timed contest.

11.) The use of 3ds objects is prohibited.

So they'd have to be supports regardless :)

With supports. My biggest pet peeve with intamin coasters is lack of launch fins. It makes me cringe.

The rides that have accurate lim fins are the x car, lim coaster style, impulse, moto, euro fighter, corkscrew, and others but not intamin. Intamin is tge easiest to heartlinet ,hough, so that makes up for the time spent on launch fins.

Before I go forth with my ride I want something to be clarified.

We can only invert in the pink areas? Or if we enter a pink are we have to invert? Do we have to enter all pink areas?

You must enter all pink areas and invert in all of them
