How to play downloaded parks/tracks when i click on them through the play menu it says unsupported version or file format.

You need to update your NL to the latest version. Click on "check for updates" in the about section from the main menu.

Click the button labeled Info on the bottom right.

In the popup, click the button that says Check For Updates

Next, there will be updates as indicated by your error message, so click Yes to download and install the updates. The start NL2 again and it'll work.
