I've heard of people using this in no limits, how do you conver/export to 3ds?

simply go in anim8or to export and then save the object you've created in the NL objects folder.
After saving it, load the nl editor up, choose the object that you just saved, and place it somewhere in the editor...

Go to object>export/import.
