.nltrack File Association

Is there any way to associate .nltrack files with the Simulator so the track opens immediately (like pressing the "RIDE" button in the Editor?). This does NOT work:

There's got to be some way to do it, since the editor will allow you to launch straight into a track.

It's probably worth sending off an email to MadData and letting us all know how it goes. I know I'd find it useful

It used to be that way, but the majority of the people referred to have the track file open the editor than the simulator first. Someone who can view the track file, maybe through FSO?, can determine what string in there causes to open the editor and not the simulator.

It's a part of windows that causes it to open the editor WWS, and it's entirely possible to change things slightly, so you can right click on the track file and select "Edit" to open it in the editor or "Ride" to fire up the sim.

All I'd need to know is how to get the sim to start and launch straight into a track and I could stick details of how to make the changes on here
