It was smooth to begin with, and I used the track smoother to make the turns pump-free, and then I used AHG to heartline it. For the 3ds I have Sketchup. You'll need the pro version to export 3ds though. The free version doesnt have those exporters. But you can ask anyone who has the pro version to ...

The Roll-NL

The Roll- A Maurer Sohne X-Car Coaster that I've made in my spare time. It's a small and short launch coaster, with only one inversion, a Zero-G roll. Hence the name of the ride, I've made a custom station, sign, and camera, but the rest of the 3ds are just ParkPack items. So you'll need that to get...

Pretty big update now, I've worked a bit more on the station, and the terrain-which I won't show until the final release. I've also used some stuff from the ParkPack. http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i39559 Im...

Oh sketchup was a total nightmare, I made the station, then when i imported it, the faces were all reversed. So I had to start all over again, and I had to draw each line by hand, then export it into Anim8or, to clean up the textures so they show up. Then export it again into NL. It's not something ...

I used AHG to smooth it out, it was pretty much trial and error for this ride. It was a nightmare, repeating the process-tweaking each time- until it came out like that.

The Roll

Hi, it's been just over a year since my last rollercoaster. So I'm a bit rusty with NL, which is why I decided to make a smaller, more family oriented ride. It has only one inversion, a Zero-G Roll, which inspired the name. I put up pics on the NLDC page, so any comments and criticism are greatly ap...

Well, after a number of unsucessful attempts to make a control house, I went back to my old PC-because it's XP, not vista- and installed Sketchup and the trial of Sketchup pro. I made a mediocre first attempt of a station control house and it looks ok. I'm still working on it. I'll post a picture as...

I've begun support work on the sidewinder. It looks good, but I'm still not sure about the track colors. Should I keep it one color or should I keep the color transtions? http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i30995http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i3093...

That looks cool. I like how there are bits of wood sticking out in the tunnel. It makes it more realistic.

Here's an update. I've been working on the terrain and fixing up the supports. I've also made a custom station. It may be basic, but I'm still practicing with the program I'm using. Support work is going smoothly and progress is being made. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.nolimitsdevc...

I've tried to run Sketchup on Vista, and it doesn't work for me. But I have used Wings 3D. It's not as easy to get used to, especially if it's the first time you make 3Ds but it's totally free. It does work quite well. All you would need in the begining is a few good toturals on exporting the textur...

Mirage

Hi, this is my latest coaster. It's an Intamin Accelerator coaster. It launches you from 0-66 mph in about 3 seconds and has 6 inversions.
It's supposed to have a more Oasis theme, but I'll get to the terrain later on.
