Re: Walibi Belgium 4 Year Plan (2018-2021)!

Hopefully we'll get a full POV soon! I must say, I'm really glad that this turned out to be an Intamin, and not a Mack. Love the energy they're bringing to the industry right now...well except the really muted/black track colors.

Re: Finally getting somewhere! (6/13/2020)

The park itself looks great! Invert is Talon af, with a pinch of Afterburn.

Re: Walibi Belgium 4 Year Plan (2018-2021)!

They're calling it a 'non-inverting cobra roll' but it looks close to inverting.

Re: Kings Island 2020 - Orion: B&M Giga

Wow, that was quite short. When I expected it to hit the MCBR it apparently was already the final brake run. The originality, I'm gagging. Orion's ride time is right on par with Leviathan (and both are a hair longer than I305), but an additional element would have gone a long way. Orion's ele...

Re: Universal's IOA - Unknown Jurassic themed Intamin Coaste

This has been my most anticipated coaster for a while and I'm glad that what I'm seeing does not disappoint. Looking like it could be Intamin's best blitz yet and if Universal delivers on themeing that'll be quite a nice bonus. Edit: Some clearer photos! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EZweJS0WAAId_Qo?f...

Re: 2022: Lost Island, $100 million theme park in Waterloo,

It's interesting how Lost Island managed to snag up secondhand coasters here and there. Definitely not a *strong* line-up, but they could be a contender if they are able to deliver on their concept art and bring in guests.

Nice! Kinda feels somewhere between Afterburn and Banshee.

Re: Deity [RLRides B&M Meta-Hyper]

Dropped a rate, excellent work. Very polished - as are all your coasters, and definitely worth the download! Hope to see more projects from you soon.

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa 2020 - Iron Gwazi: RMC Gwazi

Iron Gwazi does look truly amazing, it's gonna be a breathless experience. I will say, however, I wasn't expecting Intamin to return to the states and promptly make every RMC outer banked turn look *weak* (ie Pantheon!).

Re: SeaWorld San Diego 2020 - Emperor: B&M Dive Coaster

This is probably the most interesting dive layout yet, the verticality of that cutback is awesome, it's unusually compact, and I think it's is the first to feature a corkscrew?

Re: Deity [RLRides B&M Meta-Hyper]

The Grimes tho...lol. I like the layout, nice and long although I think it's very sort of conservative even for B&M. They've been dipping their toes into a little less conventional shaping a la Fury's treble clef, Orion's 90?? first hill, and Candymonium arguably has a bit of an outward bank. SO...

Re: Hersheypark 2020 - Hershey's Chocolatetown: New Expansio

Yeah, when I originally saw this layout I was super underwhelmed, but little bits like that outside bank are looking promising.

Re: Kings Dominion 2021 - Possible B&M Wing Coaster

Wing coasters are probably my least favorite coaster type from B&M, and possibly in general. Their wide trains make them prone to really bad vibrations, Gatekeeper is a skip for me these days due to it being like riding a slowly rotating jackhammer. It's really sad given how otherwise graceful t...

Re: Six Flags Qiddiya

Yeah, that animation is kind of like a RCT3 scenario/fever dream. It does look like Intamin track, however. It seems like somebody has some major oil money to spend, because this is supposed to be part of a MASSIVE entertainment complex built in the desert.

Re: SFGAdv 2020 - New Roller Coaster???

I think it'll just be two raptor clones side by side. Maybe with the lift hills going in opposing directions.

Re: Dreamworld, Australia 2020 - Mack Launch Coaster

So instead of the pre show it has a triple launch situation. That's a cool modification. I didn't realize there were *14* Blue Fire clones.

Re: Question about Orion

It's not opinion. Apollo's Chariot is a hyper due to its drop and layout, Orion is a giga due to its drop and layout.

Re: Project 2020 and General Park Updates - Kings Island

^They...are different. Sure, there's tons of parallels, but each is different enough, especially given the hypers being 2x2. I'd say Fury is the most different of the 3, with its speedy low-ground first half and treble clef. If it was an Intamin coaster with the exact same layout, I doubt anyone wou...

Re: Energylandia Future Expansions

Someone should let them know that they've just built a steel hybrid coaster and not a wooden one. Doesn't quite look like a Steel Vengeance beater because it lacks that incredible second half surrounded by support structure, but what's here is awesome.

Re: SFMM 2019 - West Coast Racers: Premier Quadruple Launch

They'll be lucky to make 2019 at all, it seems. This project was oddly (and I think unexpectedly) ambitious given its location.

Re: SFOT 2020 - Mack Powersplash

The standard Power Splash is a little long for the old Aquaman site, I'm curious to see what ends up happening. They'll probably just shoehorn it in, as I can't really see them putting it anywhere else.

Re: Universal announces Universal Studios Beijing!

Interesting to see all the differences in shaping...the Zero G and Cobra Roll are very notably tweaked versus the original and retracked Orlando Hulk. The 0G looks much rounder and the Cobra has a wider stance at top vs bottom, staying higher and more banked in the middle. Looks like the first corks...
