Re: NoLimits Coaster 2 Seed/Flat Ride/3D Files

It says credit is needed to use my path pack.
Not a huge detail I guess, but I don't require that.

Re: BT Paths v2

Are you linking it, or are you uploading it to your servers? (My old NL1 Rock Pack was uploaded.) Either way is fine with me, as long as I can keep track of statistics. Mostly I'm curios to see how many times it gets downloaded. EDIT: Also, updated the download, there was a texture missing in the .z...

Re: BT Paths v2

Thanks for the feedback all of you!
I mustered through the last of it yesterday, so the thing is finally finished.

The first comment is updated with all the info and links.

Re: BT Paths v2

Thanks for the comments both of you.

Well, the coaster is basically just scenery.
It's awfully built and what you see in the screens is all there is of it. ;)

BT Paths v2

http://i.imgur.com/XZeOQKD.jpg MISSING A TEXTURE? If you downloaded within the first hour, a texture was missing. So if the fence is plain white - download the pack again. This is BT Paths v2. It lets you build pathways quickly and intuitively - without having to jump back and forth between NoLimit...

[3ds] BT Ground Pieces

https://www.opendrive.com/files/Nl8yMDE2MjIyX09yZU03X2QwYTA/btgroundpcs2.png These are three simple planes with a texture resembling the texture of the terrain exported from the Nolimits Terraformer when the export is done with the default textures. The .3ds objects where originally intended for us...

The problem is that Wings3D exports its .3ds with Smooth Shading, no matter how many times you disable it. What I'm doing though is I disconnect all the edges connecting the faces I don't want to have any smooth shading. This is almost as little of work as applying smooth shading to the surfaces you...

^ Thanks!

Also, CC (thanks to Oscar and GavG) was nice enough to give me permanent hosting on their server. So the link is now updated.

And I'll upload something for you Mac people tomorrow. :)

[3ds] BT Rock Pack 1

25 different rocks for you to use with NoLimits! http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/19/902984/btrocksbutton.png The first of (hopefully) many downloadable .3ds objects for you to use with NoLimits. This one is a pack of 5 sets with 5 rocks in each set. Keep in mind that Rock 3 and Rock 4 is more hi...

As far as I can tell that transition looks very good, might be a bit sharp, but it really looks a lot like the first hill of Silver star to me. This could very well turn out awesome, I'll be waiting for more pictures and progress! <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title...

Incredible work! I can't seem to find anything in the shaping to complain about, it seems like you just nailed it all. Supports look fantastic (great job on that one .3ds immelman support btw), your station looks very promising and that tunnel will look very nice as fast as you get a texture for the...

Okay, so new and final layout:

And no, the immelman does not actually have the shaping this picture somehow makes it look like.

Yeah, so the past-MCBR section will be remade, we'll see what I can come up with this time. Oh, and KrazyKoasterKid, that's a nice idea.

Finally the full layout is done, had lots of problems with the wingover, but I think I somewhat nailed it. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/19/902984//invp09.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/19/902984//invp10.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/3/19/902984//invp11.jpg

Looks like you've been studying B&M shaping. I somehow feel that most B&M coasters around at NoLimits sites don't catch these small details such as the G force-less section and how B&M actually do their banking transitions.

So anyways, looking forard to seeing the whole layout!

So, I've decided to extend the layout. The camelback (which infact is an overbank) will be changed to an entrance to an MCBR. Also, the indoor section was basically a lame way to make room for the brakes, so that'll most likely disappear as well. And Jakizle, I'm sorry to say that I'm not handbuildi...

Still working on how the ride will operate. And thanks, not sure if the blue will stay though, depends on what theme I end up with. Gotta say that I love the blue as well though.

Yeah, I know. I was actually not trying to mimic these coaster's layouts while I was making the coaster, these elements just seemed to fit right in with each other. Anyways, so layout is finished. The long-ass straight section before the lift will be an indoor section as fast as scenery flies onto t...
