roll over vs cobra roll

I personally love the roll over element, it is graceful, smooth, more disorienting, and natural , the cobra roll is an interrupting kind of element , it just isn't very fun to do a cobra roll vs a roll-over and i am a bit surprised that B&M makes sooooo many cobra rolls when their coasters are usual...

Texas Giant rennovation, new elements

Screamscape says : "Yesterday was the final day to ride the Texas Giant until it reopens in 2011. Details were still not announced yet, but they did say that when it reopens it ??????will incorporate elements never before used in a wooden coaster.?????? "
any thoughts on what this means?

automatic collision detection ( i am suggesting here ) , that if anything is colliding with anything else, that portion of the track turns red, in real time, as you are dragging, so that you can fine tune easily and know exactly how your clearance is

maybe this was suggested already ?

is my NL acting up ?

lots and lots of exchange coasters are vallying and lately my designs surprise me that they do not have the inertia they should in order to complete layouts, as if somehow its settings or programming changed i use v 1.55 and maybe tracks in later versions calculate differently ? i find it odd that 3...

is there a tutorial with working pictures ? "But since you can't go instantaneously from 0 degrees roll to 40 degrees or 50 degrees or whatever you need, you have to ease into the turn as you ease into the bank. That means you start with an infinite radius at 0 degrees bank (straight and level), the...

help with heartlining turns

how do i make a 180 degree with banking to have no lateral gs while still having good positive g force for instance if i make a half circle going 45 mph, and i split it so that there is 3 cps the beginning, halfway thru the turn, and the end, and i just bank the middle of the turn to say 45 or 65 de...

the first one i consider a real true "big" coaster was batman the ride at magic mountain, however, i went on a fairly nice looper prior to that.

the ride looks very fun IMO , however ! is it possible to in any way have the experience of airtime with an OTSR? I know on say an upwards shooting freefall tower you can really feel wonderful negative gs, only having been on B&M loopers which don't usually have "air" it would be hard for me to judg...

I am still confused because i do not see how you can find a readout of 0.9 positive G forces, it delegates "max positive Gs" to being anything more than 1.0 and max negative Gs, when it gets to being -0.9 is spiking red usually as saying its an extreme force, Does the programs display only pick up n...

I realized after playing the NL demo that the editor is actually easier in NL!

I wonder why I thought otherwise?

Both games are quite enjoyable, however!

Can you edit the transitions into banking in NL without having to split segments?

Calculating negative gs

edit : i was wrong about SM's g force displays. I've a question, in SM, when a train is moving straight, such as on an advance piece, it says it will be having maximum positive = 0gs, but we are under normal gravitational force 1g under these circumstances. So when and how do we factor in negative g...
