That looks better than I thought it would. Should breathe new life into the Rockville area! You say that like there isn't life in that section. Rockville is the only way to get to south end and contains many food stands and games. The area is always busy. Even with Twister down the area in front o ...
I was thrilled when I saw a post showing of returned track. Glad to see it coming back together. I suspect the only big change we will see is an updated launch system.
I thought this was The Coney Island in NY. But sounds like a nice small addition. Though it's a very small play structure. makes the tower part of the name a bit misleading.
Hyper Coaster - Shambhala - Nitro Floorless Coaster - Medusa/Bizarro and Batman Dark Night Inverted Coaster - Batman the Ride at SFOG and SFGAdv Still to hit Flying Coaster, Stand-Up Coaster, Wing Coaster, Sitting Coaster, Dive Coaster, Family Coaster I'm Hoping to get back to SFGdv after 15 years a...
This dose look like a fun coaster. though I get a bit less and less excited every time RMC hacks up a wood coaster for a steel conversion. I really wish they would build more coasters, both wood and steel, from the ground up.
I have 2 Oldiesbut Goodies that come to mind. The Coney Island Cyclone. it has Not only stood the test of time over the years but it has remained a top coaster in the minds of many. Yankee cannonball, Possibly the first ever relocated coaster, This 85 year old coaster has been operating at Canobie f...
I was never afraid of coasters. I road my first when i was 5 and it was a Ziere Double figure 8. so not a kiddie coaster. Not only was I not afraid but I was an instant fan and couple wait to ride again and try more coasters. My niece however while not totally cared did ride Roar-o-saurous at Storyl...
Lake Compounce is finally getting a coaster after 16 years lol. it is great news they are gettign a coaster. though I'm a little nervous to how much I will enjoy the coasters and h ow much it will be a reride. ^crikey, that was a big risk, going without a new ride for that long! Jsut without a new ...
Never got on SFOG's Deja Vu but SFNE has SFMM's it's an OK ride but nothign amazing. Viper on the other hand was fantastic from the swampy setting to the forces.
Connecticut He speaks the truth. Nutmeggers unite! I find it hard to see CT by itself the best place for coasters. there are only 5 coaster a 6th on the way at 2 parks. Boulder dash and Wooden Warrior are the only 2 that are that good. Wildcat is fun and gettign better with rehab. but your left wit...
unfortunately Corkscrew is doing little for Canobie. no ones really goign to Canobie specifically for corkscrew. Lines for corkscrew are specifically dictated by the crowds that day. Even then if they have something else to do they will do it. For example I visited during this ears screamfest. Untam...
I have ridden GASM on 2 separate trips the first in 94 was what you describe, the second trip was in 97 and the ride seemed to have lost a bit of its force. another SFOG underrated coaster though apparently it has gotten rough in its age is Ninja. I loved that ride. It's got an amazing layout and l...
Out of the list I would say Texas though I picked other. I agree with PA being a top state. But if your looking at similar land mass. you might as well look at all 7 New England states as compares to large states like Ohio, TX, CA, PA, etc. 6 of the 7 states have parks. each containing 1-11 coasters...
As long as we're talking about future locations for these, I saw something during IAAPA for both NYC and Atlantic City. Its interesting because they are only about 4 hours difference(I believe anyway since I live a little outside both). It would work in AC, and they NEED something new to restart th...
