NL Grid Size

Ok, this has to have been asked before, but I tried a few searches of this forum with no luck. In NL, is there a way to expand the size of the grid that you build on? It seems frozen at 440 meters by 440 meters, with no way to move the boundaries or to build beyond them. Is there a way around this, ...
