Does anyone know how to disable the water in the terrain editor? I just want to dig without it filling up with water.

I'm having an issue with painting on the terrain. I'm sure I just screwed up a setting somewhere, but every time I go to paint the pattern it's HUGGGGE. Help would be very much appreciated! Thanks guys
