Originally posted by GerstlCrazy Making shuttles has nothing to do with my complaint, it's just about how while in shuttle mode (which I usually use for testing current progress), ALL lifts release nearing the end. NL1 never did that. Shuttle Mode was a workaround for NL1 to ride incomplete tracks....

You need to place a trigger on the track. dDouble click it and select unlock swinging. Place another one close to the brake to stop the swinging.

@Goku1910 ^^
Enable speed comb in the editor. Hover with your mouse over the bars of the comb and take a look at the status bar.
...also works with GForce comb

...guess I'm too slow.

I think you'd be better of creating the loop first with a standard formula and then trying to end your FVD-section with a good match. or the other way round, when you ended horizontal without banking

Ah, Casper, I misread your post. Thought you said it was more than a year since the LAST update...
But what's so sad about the monthly updates in general?

You could of course also download the texture templates that you'll find on the dev-site (www.nolimitscoaster.de).

Matt, I think it's different. It says: "Prize Money: 1st - $100 USD Each additional track used by InMotion - $50 / track US residents will be sent a check Non-US residents will receive an online gift card of their choice (Note: InMotion will own any track it pays for and can be used commercially)" S...

You just need to select one or multiple vertices and have them smoothed. If nothing much happens you had a pretty smooth track before.

We (redunzelizer and me) obfuscated the formula a bit (but not so much that we ourselfs couldn't read it), so it wouldn't be too easy to figure out HOW it works. Only if you allready have a good idea on the inner workings, you might be able to unscramble the formula. Anyway, understanding the core f...

It's a general problem, not only for AHG, but also for NL. Which way is "up" from the trains point of view when the track itself is vertical? You simply can't tell. So there's also no way of calculating the banking. That's also the main reason why there is relroll in NL. There's two simple solutions...

Sketchup doesn't export reasonable material settings. There is diffuse, ambient and specular colors that define how the object is lit. IIRC Sketchup only sets the diffuse component and leaves specular and ambient at 0 (black). This is the reason why the shadow side is all black. <!-- m --><a class="...

Nope. If that was the case (DX8), the water would work. Unfortunatly the GF4MX series is only DX7. First DX8 card would be the GF4TI.

I think those spikes come from actual bumps in the track or other signs of bad BT. I checked for spikes on my coasters and found none. Here's a video of a coaster I'm currently working on: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://ridehost.com/uploads/ogopogo.avi">http://ridehost.com/uploads/ogopog...
