Honestly, I don't think it is that big of deal really. SM1 already allows you to create most of the styles by adding a new train. The only major style that immediately comes to mind that SM1 can't do is a B&M dive machine, and SM2 will have that one when it's released. SMer asked what I was working ...

It really isn't a matter of being innovative. I just noticed a long time ago that I was duplicating a lot of code per style for no reason. So now instead of spending hours copy/pasting code and changing numbers around in a few places, I can spend five minutes and have a new style up and running.

Right now I'm working on the Style Editor. Yes, that means users will be able to create thier own track styles if they want.

I assume you're talking about supports on vertical loops. If so, make sure that the support's track node style is set to 5 and that the track "style" is set to boxed.

It is entirely possible that it's a bug or something (the sound). All of the systems I have access to have a minimum of 4 speakers w/ sub. SM2 can use other methods besides bezier curves. I must admit that I'm puzzled when people say that SM1's editor isn't as powerful as NL's. Not counting the 3rd ...

Peeps aren't planned. The last thing I want to do is require that users need to know math in order to make smooth rides. That being said, there will most likely be a way to generate elements using math or other methods. Coasteragent - you have it backwards.. NL1.6's water looks somewhat SM2's, altho...

I respond to every email I recieve regarding lost registration information. The most likely reasons you haven't heard back are because you sent it from an invalid email, have my email blocked (AOL users are bad about this), or you don't have access to the email address used to register the game. In ...

SM2 won't be out by the end of this year. I'm hoping to have it in Alpha testing (maybe even beta testing) by then, but who knows for sure. Unless a MAJOR problem comes up, there's no way it will take until 2007 to get it completed. I'm working as hard as I can without burning myself out too badly s...

SM2's train options are more flexible so adding a unique last car doesn't add any additional limitations. But for some reason this thread is quickly becoming a general suggestion thread instead instead of scenario suggestions. If you want to make a non-scenario suggestion, please start a new thread ...

Those pics were just to show that model importing was working since at the time, no coaster sim had the ability to do so. If you look at the pics again, you'll notice that the interface is totally different as well.
