We'd like to hold off showing the wooden coasters until we've finished rebuilding the PTC and GCI trains. Currently only the Morgan is done. The PTC trains will go quickly. The Millennium Flyer will take a bit longer.

I'm pretty sure invisible track is something we've mentioned before. If not, well, I guess I let that one slip. It's a simple feature that opens up a lot of possibilities, particularly when combined with the API. It doesn't take much thought to imagine what you can do with it. Everything from camera...

On ride cameras are available as scriptable elements. Also rides can even be coded to work with the "C" and "V" key binds for switching seats or cars. For this video we're going to demo some of the ways you can use these features to create more professional looking videos by effectively turning an i...

There have been a lot of questions about hand building in NL2. Even though we've included a new built-in FVD editor, we still feel hand building is central to NoLimits. To improve it, the bezier spline in NL1 has been replaced with a more generalized b-spline. This automatically produces a smoother ...

All of the trains are getting a makeover of one sort or another in order to accommodate specular and normal maps. In many cases this involves remapping which means I have an opportunity to move details onto different maps. In the case of the B&M Hyper I kept the sign but placed the seats on their ow...

You will need some programming experience to begin to code your own scripts in NL2. If you're familiar with Java or C# you'll be right at home in the NL2 API. But for most scripts, once it is written, it will be very easy for anyone to use. The splash script for example appears as a scenery object t...
