So, "Alpha 3" is out, but in the time between now and alpha 2, I had some PC issues related to Win10 August update and had to reinstall, so I have lost all my parks. I'm starting fresh on something you guys can tweak and play with too, I'm going to be releasing a park onto Steam Workshop w...
Yeah, I'm trying to be original, also the way the holding brake is shaped cant get a nice curved drop, looks more "legit" than a plain vertical drop, I don't know the exact angle as I had snapping turned off.
Another update, I've really been in the mood to play recently, so yeah, I've started to fill in the blank space around the coaster before I got all out on theming, mainly with trees as I do plan to build on that land at some point too and trees are easy to delete, I raised some arches over the 1st d...
A quick little update, I've started work on a beyond vertical dive machine, it's gonna have a jungle theme and I may build a kiddie coaster that interacts with it somewhat, how I have no idea yet
I was watching Silvarret stream building this on Twitch, I told him that some of the lats might be "deadly" and he smoothed it, so I like to think I had input haha
I have NL2 installed on my SSD just because I like faster loading times, but I save parks on a different drive, usually NL2 will just recreate a new folder once you have moved the other one, plus you should be able to load from any connected drive through the "ingame" explorer like you wou...
What's your building progress like now? :) I'm getting better at building in the game all around, if you meant on that park I've stopped work on that one for now as I had another idea for a more modern looking park, I will get back around to it, or maybe merge the 2 once the full game is out. But h...
Kinda reminds of "if Alton Towers could make a tall ride". That's what I'm going for  I've started on a new pirate themed area now, haven't finished the scenery and placed buildings yet other than the coasters station, the coaster itself is kind of based off of Thirteen minus the ind...
Looks like a hilly park where you can put a decent mountain coaster as well!
As cool at that sounds, the map size isn't quite big enough for that, but I like the idea, might make a "micro" mountain and do something similar to Volcano @ KD
So Alpha 2 has gone live on Planet Coaster and after a little messing around, I managed to build a Flying Coaster (1 of the new types in the update) that I actually liked the layout of, all of the track was manually shaped, although the pretzel loop was a pain to make. I'm actually going to try and ...
I vaguely remember seeing those conceptarts a long time ago (I'm not sure where I saw them). But thanks for giving this update. I wan't to ride the wooden coaster in the first concept art! If you go on their website, the concept on the main page shows a Formula Rossa type coaster too, but...
There was a topic but it didn't contain any solid information neatly laid out like this ;) :) Ah ok, but yeah, it's exciting, there's literally nothing to do in the area unless you count Diggerland in Rochester but that's shite. Hopefully once construction starts I can go take a walk and get pics o...
I'm actually quite surprised that nobody has mentioned it on here unless they have and I've missed it, but literally 5 mins from where I live (I'll be able to see it when it's built from my front window) Paramount are building a new park, it's gonna be built on Swanscombe Peninsula in Kent The park ...
This game is, I assume, fabulous and realistic, because fantasy and reality coexist. :) Well it's a hell of a lot more realistic than I thought it was gonna be, like the lift has stairs and netting, also B&M style curved drops are also possible to make in a realistic way, also brake fins are de...
I probably should have mentioned the tree was part of the map but yeah they've added maps with things sculpted out of the terrain, shame the terrain editor isn't usable yet, but what's included is ok for now Edit: A couple more screenshots from the park with the massive tree & changed the name o...
This has nothing to do with the park I am making, although this one is actually turning out better, it's from one of the pre-made terrains with paths etc but no rides, so I added some in and took a couple more screenshots.
This game is also showing off beautiful environments! I assume that the red track goes perfectly well with forest colors! I never thought that I could see such a beautiful scenery! :D The 1st thing I did once it was installed was check out some of the premade parks, the environments are really awes...
So I finally got a chance to play Planet Coaster and I've decided to build a park that I'll eventually share on here if possible, only really managed to place a ferris wheel and an Arrow style coaster which is actually my 1st attempt at making a coaster on the game, it's actually pretty easy, I used...
