I figured that she must have been standing too, the ride is way too tame and the seats too low to get thrown overboard sitting. Although I haven't been to Drayton in a couple of years, I definitely remember there being signs all over the ride saying not to stand up and to remain seated so it seems k...
The ability to copy and paste scenery objects is one of the things I've wanted so much, it would make fences so much easier to use! But yeah, unfortunately I think you are limited to individual placement. I tend to place down the items in top view first to get them in place and then just adjust the ...
Damn this is sad, sounds like it was a school trip too. Already seeing a million "Theme parks are clearly deathtraps and should be shut down" comments though.
Bit indifferent on the name but the theme and logo is cool. The final colours are waaay better than the cheetah hunt scheme they had in the first teaser, it fits in with the surrounding rides like a charm now. Very excited for this one really. If only Drayton Manor pulled something out the bag for 2...
^ Hopefully I should have made enough progress to do one soon. The next update should be a fairly big one since I've used the feedback to change a bunch of things and a lot has changed. Once I'm happy that everything I'm working on for the next update is presentable I'll do another big post
^Yeah it's pretty rough track right now and I'm still playing about with it to get something I'm happy with. I was going for more of a vekoma style but then it evolved and got a bit out of hand haha. The entrance to the corkscrews isn't as squished as it looks but the actual corkscrews do feel a bit...
I think it's time for an update! As Turbo has mentioned I've been incredibly busy with life recently and not had a lot of time to play NL2. That doesn't mean that I haven't been working on the project though and I wanted to wait until there were some substantial changes to give another update. So do...
That second launch just looks and sounds insane and I love how close the scenery is the entire time. It also seems to be much faster than the first few runs on these newer POV's I've been seeing
I can imagine it feels even faster when you're at rider level and surrounded by the scenery. This looks incredible and I guess it does look a little airtimeless but I don't think that airtime is needed to make this ride great. The layout is amazing and some of the turns and sections look pretty inte...
^Hahaha, M&D's is honestly run like a roaming funfair. It shouldn't even be called a theme park unless they've actually cleverly themed the entire park as a depressing old gypsy fair (in which case better theming than Phantasialand)
Here's a comment on the Daily Mail post "What is going on in this amusement parks What happen to the safety of people using this rides My god the people r meters above the earth If it was not Gods grace More lives could have been lost Don't they do inspections to the roller coasters before allo...
It's on the turn into the final break run so the banking is pretty shallow and the speed is low so I'd imagine most of the force is acting down. I tried a horizontal connector and it looked even more unstable
The only thing I can really conclude from the image is that since youtube videos often appear darker it may just be that coming into play. Their tunnel is most likely the same brightness as yours but it looks darker on video. They could also have their brightness down? It's likely just down to perce...
Would you be able to give us some sort of visual comparison of the dark tunnel against your tunnel Greg? It may be that they have different environment settings with the shadows set too a darker colour
Happy New Year everybody! I thought I'd start 2016 off with a short update. Progress on the park is slow as I'm incredibly busy in real life but I've got a whole lot of stuff planned for the park so you can feel safe in the comfort that I'm not putting the project on hold or abandoning it. It's stil...
