Depends on what GPU you have right now, and what GF4 you?????????re thinking about! But generally speaking I would say, upgrading the GPU helps.

Okay updated the driver and it works now. At least it works with Canyonrunner but with my Spidey it crashes back to desktop.
Overall the effect is not as spectacular as in FS2002 for example, so only for NL it would be a waste, but since it supports a lot of other games as well.
