Titan at SFOT has a spectacular helix, with this really intense, prolonged feeling of speed and forcefulness which makes it feel really trippy, I seemed to start seeing these flashing lights as everything wooshed passed, it just felt wonderful. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rcdb.com...

I really like the look of this one, I think it'l be an outstanding ride. I'm growing rather fond of these smaller footprint rides, like this, steel hawg and kirnu, seeing them go up that quickly is another selling point.

This will surely be an excellent addition for plopsaland, I visited last year and I think a coaster like this would fit in really well there, giving them a something a bit less tame to acompany the star flyer. It's great to see Gerstlauer develop so much so quickly, MOA and Farup's new coasters are ...

The wild mouse at PBB. That thing is awesome, the drops are fast with wicked airtime and some of the turns are so impossibly sharp for the speed I get scared just watching it negociate them, and thinking about those little mushroom pegs...

People were saying 'are you ok, you look white as a sheet' when I rode Oblivion when it opened I was about 12. These days, some drop towers scare me, but that star flyer at Tivoli Gardens... OMG!!! I was constantly swearing and going ''who came up with this thing!!''

I was 11 when I first rode Nemasis and it was my first ride with inversions. Just go for it, I did and it was awesome.

hmm I love each one for their different reasons, I even like Vekoma for their innovations over the years eg boosterbikes and Expedition everest. For ride quality I prefer B&M above all else but I think Intamin have pushed the boundaries of technology more in terms of speed and launches and I think I...

ha I remember getting into some bother over that a year ago. I discovered the only way to do that stuff really is to ask somebody who bought it to do it for you. Shame really coz I'd pay for it as well. IMO if it was too outdated to sell then nobody'd still be using it. O well.

hmm all eyes on Oblivion. Surely they could afford de-floorification too! It does seem quite expensive and unusual to be switching the trains two years after opening, I suppose they want to bring it into line with Griffon.

American Adventure to close

The inevitable has happened here I think. Like a sick dog that needed putting down, The American Adventure has closed. Smaller parks seem to be dropping like flies these days. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/derbyshire/6232333.stm">http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/en...

They didn't go revealing it to that other club which I left!! Much as Id like to see it, I'd be suprised if it did happen, I recently read in the context of how megaphobia got built that focus groups thought the public don't trust wooden rides and think they're old technology, also they're less easy...
