Re: Have you ever seen an excessive queue line fill up?

B:TR at GAm has seen its share of days where people have entered in Mardi Gras and worked their way through the overflow queue (especially when it opened at the line was all the way back in Orleans Place). With the addition of Joker, I'm not sure this portion is actually used anymore...but I know th...

Re: Cable Snap on Goliath at SFNE

Thankfully...they have Flashback as a backup! If that isn't luck...I don't know what is!

Re: Seat-belts Added To B&M Hyper Coasters?

A few things make me wonder.... All 3 of these hypers belong to the same company and have the same train design. My guesses would be a) a safety bulletin was issued by B&M or b) it was a decision that Cedar Fair's insurance company deemed necessary. Does anyone know whether or not Shambhala has ...

I wouldn't be surprised if they put some kind of netting under that portion of the ride as the train will be right over the service road at the point.

I'm sure the park traced the ride layout onto an existing site drawing. It would surprise me if the theater was still standing next year.

On average, I would assume that every train dispatched per operating day has at least 1-2 people who have the same mindset as this lady did and voice the concern about not being safe/wanting an extra "click" (or whatever it might be)....told they will be okay and and come back to the station just fi...

Why didn't this guy just walk through when prompted and then waited where he wanted to? Probably would have saved him some time and whining for sure.

This area of the park has needed a massive overhaul for quite some time now. Honestly, the writing has been on the wall and while these rides might have a hint of nostalgia, they probably aren't worth the upkeep anymore. If it is in fact a "Wing Coaster", I sure hope they go the route of X-Flight/Sw...

Maybe my memory is fading and I don't remember the ride as much as I think I do....but weren't 2 trains able to be parked on the brake run before the station? With all three trains running when it operated there would have been major stacking issues if the mcbr was used to hold the third train.

Typical media response (from the Burke video)...."Maybe you need to have more than just rules because kids break rules" It's tragic, but could have been prevented. They (the kids) knew the protocol, especially if they were worried about being kicked out if they pulled the stunt off. Yet another reas...

^ Yes, but I would expect an 8th grader to understand his/her actions and the consequences just a bit more than a 6-year old, whose only intention according to the story was to eat lunch, with his cub scout utensil that had a spoon, fork, and knife. It's a good lesson in the end, but I don't think i...

I think it's a good thing that SFF has put insight into this "behind the scenes" view. There is a lot of eye opening information that really makes you take a step back and wonder "what are they thinking?!?!?!". I have friends who still work at the park and all of them have different mixed feelings o...

Why don't you just have them over at your house instead of walking into their house? It's a thought to consider I guess.
