Arrow Suspened RC like Vampire at CWoA

Sorry to inform you guys that ive talked with both Brian and Dario from SM. 1.5 and the Arrow Suspended coasters will NOT be in SM1 ever. Brian told me that he just could not get the trains to swing naturally or smoothly enough for his satisfaction.

Instead you will see one more update, wether its called 1.5 or not I dont know, but I do know that Dario and Brian said it will feature 1-2 more track styles, new trains, and one of those new styles will be something that no other sim has. I have NO clue what it is, havent been told. I havent been told a release date either. So dont ask me. Ask them at their site.

I have read some of the forums, didn't DrangonsIOA say that chances are the suspends would be released in Screammachines 2?

Oh, it WILL be in SM2. THe engine in SM2 will be completely new and the physics engine will be 10 times better. So yes, well see them in SM2 whenever it gets there.


BTW Vampire at La Ronde is not a suspended, its anB&M Inverted. This is the more techincal term. The Suspended are like Iron Dragon at CP and Vortex at PCW, those were made by Arrow where the cars actually swing independant from the track.

Also, from what i read, the frame rates in screammchines 2 will be better. If i currently run coasters at around 30 fps, how fast will they run in screammachines 2?

Yea...thats a very nice reply. Actually I knew this way before things were posted at SM, thats why. Nor though was i acting like "oh look at me i had this info". I dont think there was much need for that response

good for you, as you fail to see that your frontline info isn't much as you posted it after basically everyone knew by reading the forums there

Actually in his SM Status thread, he no where mentions that the suspendeds are a no go.

As a quote "I still haven't decided if the suspended style will be in 1.5, or 2.0 along with the new terrain, etc."

Do a search for Arrow or suspended and youll find that no where does he give a final decision.
