I think there are 2 programs on your computer. Make sure you click on the 1.6 version. Maybe it should work.

Uninstall 1.5 -- reinstall 1.6

Instead of using open click save as and save it in on your desktop. Then go on your dessktop, right click it, and click open with and choose the latest version of NL.

well, back to the problem. I now find that when I download a coaster. the old version of the NL comes on the download manager. I have to close the old version and the go to my desktop to open ythe new version to ride anything using the 1.6 upgrade.

So, what i need to do is find out why is the old version coming up for download instead of the new.

And no. I'm not having troubles with viruses.[:p]

Thats fine and dandy but when I uninstall the 1.5 and then install the 1.6. When Then get a error message when I try to download a track stating. This is a 1.55 full realease. This track is only available in the registered version. Then I try to install the 1.55 again but it wont becouse of the 1.6. So I have to uninstall the 1.6 to get the 1.55 to install again. And then Im back to where I began. So,, I have to figure this out. [:D] Thanks

when you've downloaded a track, don't open it through the download manager. start the sim (1.6) and open it through that

NO. Read what SixFlagsFiesta and ItalianPnoy112 said from the start. Ignore these other n00bs. You don't have to uninstall anything.

1. With just ONE TRACK, ANY NL TRACK right click on it, and choose Open With->Choose Program...
2. Find c:/program files/nolimits coasters v1.6/, and double click on NoLimitsEditor.exe or NoLimitsSimulator.exe (up to you).
3. Check Always use this program to open this kind of file. Click Okay.

Now ALL nolimits tracks will automatically open with the new version, as easy as one, two, three-point-one-four. (That was lame.)

I reiterate my previous statement ... learn how to use a computer, there are more ways to open a file than just double clicking. <eye roll>
